Hi, my name is Leon Scott, a 3rd-year student at Maple Highschool.
Before I say anything more about myself, I just have to tell you all that I have a girl that I like.
" Bro, Leon! You commin' with us or what." - said my friend named Marsh Greenfield, standing in front of my school desk.
" Yeah, yo! Canteen's gonna run out of steamed buns if we take too long, yo!" - said my other friend Alex Watts, who was just resting his arm on Marsh's shoulder.
" Do I have to go with you lots all the time?" - I said as I gave them a disapproving look.
The truth is, I just don't want my two misogynist friends to see me hanging out with the girl that I like.
Right at the corner of the room is a girl named Kate Miller who is eating lunch with her girl friends.
I've always planned on asking her out ever since I was in my 1st year of high school, but my relationship with my two friends prevented me from ever taking any actions toward her.
" You skipping lunch when you're that skinny, yo?" - Alex said while raising an eyebrow.
" Be honest with me, Leon. You just want to hang out with that Kate girl, don't you?" - Marsh said while giving me a serious look.
" No, not really..."
" Then why are you staring at her intently right now?" - he added.
" Well, you know. I'm picturing a scenario where I'm spitting on these girls' faces." - I said as I continued to stare at Kate.
" Damn, yo! That's really manly of you! I'mma do it too, yo!" - Alex excitedly said before joining me to stare at the women eating in the corner.
Though I wasn't staring at any women unlike Alex. The only girl I was staring at was none other than Kate. Just staring at her beauty is enough to fill my empty stomach.
" Hell yeah. You deserve my spit, ya filthy women!" - said Alex who's doing the complete opposite of me.
" Seriously, Leon. Don't forget our number 1 rule..." - Marsh said.
Rule number 1: Falling in love with a woman will receive the punishment of getting their testicles cut off.
" Of course. How could I forget?" - sighing, I redirected my attention from Kate to Marsh who was looking at me suspiciously.
Marsh Greenfield: He and Alex are childhood friends who have always hated women when they were still 13. Marsh used to be popular with the girls due to his looks but eventually lost his fame after rejecting the most popular girl in middle school. The girls in his school started rumors about him being gay soon after the rejection. That sole reason was the origin of his hate against women.
" You're doubting Leon a bit too much, yo! Did you forget that he's the one that made our rules in the first place?" - Alex lightly punched Marsh's shoulder, to which Marsh just shrugged off like it was nothing.
Alex Watts: There's really nothing much to say about him. He's the one that invited me to the group when we were still 1st years. His reason for hating women is all because he was rejected by his female childhood friend when he confessed to her in middle school. Apparently, the girl broadcasted his rejection throughout the whole school, which made him a complete laughingstock for a whole week.
" Just sayin'... The way he looked at that Kate girl made me think that he's desperate to get under her pants." - Marsh said.
Marsh is the smartest in the group. It's sometimes hard for me to make a move on Kate whenever he's around.
" Stop being disgusting, Marsh. I get that you're always horny but leave me out of your fantasies, will you?"
" Oh, damnnnn!!! Who let Leon cook, yo?!"
Marsh released an annoyed sigh before scratching the back of his hair with an annoyed look.
" Can we all just go eat lunch already?" - Marsh said in an annoyed tone of voice.
" Oh, shit! My steamed buns! The canteen's gonna run out of it, yo!" - Alex said in a panic, and then immediately stormed off the classroom.
As you can already guess... Alex is the airhead of the group.
" Leon?"
" Yeah, yeah. Let's go get lunch." - I responded to Marsh as I stood up from my desk and walked out of the classroom with him.
Lastly, Leon Scott: I only just met these guys two years ago but I became the leader of the group for some unknown reason. As you can already tell, I DON'T hate women, but for some reason, these two think that I do. In fact, both of them believe that I'm the biggest misogynist in the group. I was already hanging out with them before they told me about their anti-women agenda so I didn't have a choice but to just go along with it.
At the canteen...
" They ran out of steamed buns... This is all your fault, Leon yo..."
" Cut me some slack. I already paid for your lunch as an apology."
" Who eats steamed buns during lunchtime anyway?"
Halfway through lunchtime, I and the boys just finished ordering our lunch, making our way to our usual lunch table. Each of us held a tray of food.
" Try not to eat too much, boys. We have PE class right after Lunch." - Marsh said.
" Why did the school think it's a good idea to have PE class after Lunch break anyway?" - Alex replied. It's the smartest question I've heard him ask in a long while.
" Haha... I don't know. The principal is a woman, after all." - Marsh eagerly said while holding his urge to laugh.
" P-Pftt!! HAHA! That makes a lot of sense, yo!"
Alex's uncontrollable laughter almost made him spill the tray of food he was holding. I had to be the one to hold his tray in place to prevent it from spilling.
" You gotta admit, Leon. That shit was funny!" - Marsh lightly poked my arm with his elbow with a smug look.
" It was a good joke, yeah." - I reluctantly nod.
Marsh tilts his head in confusion.
" Joke? What joke?" - Marsh raised his eyebrow.
" Wait, a joke?! I love jokes, yo!" - Airhead Alex decided to make things worse.
All three of us abruptly stopped walking. Both Alex and Marsh are left staring at me, waiting for my response.
" You okay, Leon?"
" Tell us the joke, yo!"
