" You guys know the drill. Pair up with someone for your warm-up exercise." - our teacher commanded.

As soon as lunch break ended, PE class immediately started.

" A pair-up exercise, huh..." - I say while rubbing my chin.

I know this seems like a stretch, but I want to pair up with Kate... Though she probably paired up with someone already.

" Yo, Leon! Pair up with me, will ya?"

Marsh came from behind, patting me on the back. It had to be the person I least wanted to pair up with me...

" Not fair, yo! What about me?!"

Of course. The 3rd guy would be here...

" Ain't a way in hell I'm pairing up with you, Al. Working with you is the same as working with a monkey." - Marsh said to Alex.

" I'm not pairing up with you either, you narcissistic bastard! I'm here for Leon!" - Alex rebutted.

" Who're you calling a narcissist?!"

" And who're you calling a monkey, yo?!"

Soon enough, the two idiots began tugging on each other's sleeves while continuing to badmouth each other.

" It makes me wonder why these two idiots are childhood friends..."

After observing the two duke it out for a straight minute, I decided to turn away and search for a different partner instead.

" No point in trying to pair up with a girl when everyone thinks I'm a misogynist..."

I sluggishly scanned the entire field to find someone I could pair up with until a familiar group of hesitant girls approached my direction.

" It's Kate..." - I said to myself, nervous.

" Excuse us... Do you have a minute?" - Kate nervously asked. Her friends just stood behind her.

As I nodded my head, I replied, - " Yep. What's up?"

Kate brings out a shy, timid girl that was hiding behind her.

" This is our friend May, and she's the only one in the girls that don't have a partner yet. I believe that Leon is a gentle guy so can you pair up with her for today's exercise?" - Kate said with a cheerful and outgoing smile.

Crap... It just had to be a girl... But I can't just say no, right? Especially when the one asking for a favor is none other than Kate...

" I don't mind but... Is that alright with her?" - I gestured to May who was extremely reluctant.

" I-- I think I'm--" - Before May could even respond, a different girl from the group decided to step in.

" This is ridiculous, Kate! Don't you know who this guy is? He and that two idiots back there are misogynists!" - A big breasts girl said while glaring at me.

Oh, dear. Here we go...

" Leon doesn't look like a misogynist to me though..." - Kate said while observing me.

" These guys are notorious for badmouthing any girl they come across with! I mean, just look at his two friends right there!" - The big breasts woman said.

The group of girls, including myself, turned around to watch my two friends that could be seen bickering with each other.

" You're just as dumb as any other woman, yo!"

" D-Did you just compare me to a woman, you little shit?! Oh, it's on!"

Just like that, both began throwing punches at each other like there was no tomorrow. Our teacher and other boys had to intervene to break up the fight.
