Kei was lying passed out on the ground next to the flaming barrier when she suddenly heard a familiar voice in her head.

"Kei, you must wake up. It is not too late to protect your father. I know that you might not be strong as you can be, but your father needs you not only for physical protection but as emotional protection. I know that you can at least do that even if you can't save him here now," her mother's familiar voice said.

Kei groaned softly, eye twitching slightly as she heard the voice in her head.

"Kei," The voice whispered as it faded away. Kei started to open her eyes slightly.

"Huh?" Kei questioned, holding her head in pain as she noticed the barrier was filled with large trees.

Orochimaru then started laughing."You really shouldn't lower your guard,  sensei," He said."That's your problem. You've always been naive."

Kei lifted her slightly Iff the ground to see the Third Hokage inside of a strange-looking cage, and glanced back at her father holding his sword into the ground.

'Oh, Father, what going on? You were so kind and caring during training. The man's mom always said good things about him but never your name or where you were from, but she did talk about you now and then.' She thought, clenching her necklace as she slowly sat on up, wincing.

"Now, I will correct my mistake and bury you once and for all!" The Third Hokage shouted.

Orochimaru simply smiled in response.

'I have to think of something before it is too late. I don't know why, but I'm positive my mom talked to me while I was passed out.' She thought, looking at her father and then the Third Hokage.

"It's time to end this!" The Third Hokage said as the cage around him disappeared in a poof of smoke, and now he had a black staff in his hand.

"Hm," Orochimaru hummed."Im afraid it's too late now," He said.

The second and First Hokage then vanished in thin air. While the Third Hokage brought his fingers together."Shadow Clone Justu," He said, making two clones of himself."

"No Shadow clones. He is going to exhaust what little chakra he jas left!" The ANBU in the tan cloak and red mask said.

"Heh. You'll only shorten your life, sensei," Orochimaru said, smiling."I think your impatience is getting the better of you."

"I have to do something before it is too late," Kei muttered with narrow eyes putting a hand on her knee as she attempted to stand up as the Third Hokage made quick hand signs.

Kei suddenly froze, feeling a bad chill going down her spine.

"Whatever you're planning, it's too late," Orochimaru commented."It's over. I won already. The Leaf Village will fall.

'I'm getting a bad feeling about this. Please, Father, stop before something happens to you.' Kei thought, looking at her father.

"You're forgetting that the Leaf Village is my home," The Third Hokage stated."And as Hokage, I am entrusted with my home's protection. I am the head of the household, the central pillar! He who would destroy my home must first kill me, and I warn you, it will not be easy!"

"Genjustu, Infinite Darkness!" The second Hokage exclaimed, surrounding the whole area with darkness.

"No," Kei whispered.

"What nonsense. In the grand scheme of time, you're just a trivial footnote in the brief history of a cluster of huts called the Leaf Village," Orochimaru said mockingly.
