You woke up immediately from a dream of nothingness to a loud sound of Albert screaming.
It didn't bother you though, he was most likely filming a Roblox video but you just hadn't gotten used to the loud noises he was gonna make in order to entertain the viewers. You were still gonna check on him just to make sure nothing happened though.
You pushed the covers off of you, got out of bed, and walked quietly down the hall to his recording room so you didn't disturb his recording.
When it was silent you knocked on the door and opened the door slowly. He turned around so you opened the door all the way.
"Oh, hey" He said nervously as he took his earbuds out, "Did I wake you up?"
"Yeah but I just came to see if you were okay" You admitted
"Yeah I am, sorry for waking you up" He apologized
"It's okay I'm going to sleep on the couch so you can be as loud as you want"
Before he could answer you shut the door behind you and make your way downstairs. You knew the downstairs would block out the noises and you could sleep in peace as your husband made his video.
You closed your eyes as you collapsed on the soft surface of the couch first on your stomach then on your side and covered with the blanket you unknowingly dragged along with you because you were half-asleep.
You opened your eyes when you heard footsteps, you looked up and saw Albert walking to you.
"Albert?" You looked at him as he stood there, "What are you doing down here?"
"I stopped recording" He told you, "I... felt bad for waking you up so I decided to come lay with you"
He smiled as he laid down on the other side of the couch on the opposite side of where you were, you two had never laid together much but you could tell he really wanted since he stopped recording just for you.
"Thanks Al" You said then laid on his chest, "You didn't have to do that for me"
"I know"
You could hear his heart beating as clear as day as you laid on his chest. He pulled the blanket over the both of you and pulled you closer to him. You felt safe right there in his arms under the blanket that you closed your eyes again.
"I love you" He whispered softly probably not to wake you up
"I love you too" You whispered back
You drifted fast asleep and had a dream that was no longer just nothingness.
