Hey guys, I know it's been a while. I wanted to write this chapter and finish this arc so bad, but a lot of stuff got in the way, and not the regular uni and work related stuff that just keeps getting worse. No, something happened after I posted the last chapter in my personal life. Something horrifying.

Whilst this month is the month of pride and acceptance, and is beautiful, the fact that June is also men's mental health month gets overlooked quite a lot, and I mean entirely. The reason I bring this up is because on April 3rd, my best friend tried and failed to take his own life. He's been to the hospital and has been on suicide watch, but had circumstances played out differently, things would have gone a hell of a lot worse for him.

I have spent all my time on him, so much so that I've failed my major uni subject for this semester, and I have no regrets, I can retake that course, but my best friend only has one life. I went out and bought a PS5 so we could play shit together, hung out with him every moment our schedules allowed, and was generally just by his side the entire time. Writing didn't take a backburner this time, it was completely cut out of my life.

I am happy to report that my friend is doing better. He's not great, and won't be for a long time, he might never fully recover from this, but I just wanted to thank you all for your patience, and that I have not forgotten about this, or left it to die. I am simply putting a lot of energy elsewhere at the moment.

But anyway, enough depressing shit, onto the story!

All four members of Kiddy Party awoke at once to the sounds of explosions, fire and screaming. Ryuu was the first to react, quickly getting up and reaching for her sword, only to realise she hadn't bought it with her during their outing the day prior. She realised she also didn't have her armour or gear with her, making matters even worse for them. The realised all she was good for was her magic, 3 level 1 adventurers with magic.

As the floor slammed open, startling the four kids and revealing a woman in her very early twenties, Ryuu subconsciously corrected herself. They were also a level 7 adventurer who could take anyone in Orario. Relief washed over her as the woman approached, before she commanded the four of them. "Get up. This city needs it's heroes, and you four are going to deliver." said the woman. The girls looked on in shock, obviously expecting Alfia to come to the rescue and make everything disappear. That was obviously not the case. "Now more than ever, Orario is in ruins and terror. The only way for it to return to the way it was before, when Zeus and Hera looked over this city, is for the next generation to stand up and fight. Don't rely on your elders forever."

Ardee looked at the woman, before thinking a joke might lift the spirits of the others. "Can we really call you our elder? You're less than double my age, or Ryuu's."

Alfia turned to the blue haired child and scoffed. "You have a silver tongue, girl. It can get you out of trouble as much as it can get you into trouble. Be careful with it." she simply replied, before turning to the door. "This day, I will fight for Orario once more." she told them, throwing the two doors open, before turning back to the kids. "Make sure to support me, okay?"

No that got the others motivated. With no gear, weapons or plan, the four children followed the strongest woman in the world, to save the city they all called home.

The trio of Loki Familia executives looked at the carnage before them. Explosions rocked the city's north-western section, blood flooded the streets and corpses laid scattered across the ground. Finn looked on in distain as he saw a mixture of bodies that didn't belong, wearing rugged black cloaks not dissimilar from Evilus. But was this the doing of Evilus, or some other terror organisation claiming to be them? Finn couldn't know for sure until he knew more. However, it seemed problems were only just beginning as explosions continued to sound just a little further away from their location. There was no time to think. Only to act.
