We were completely done with filming at the sanctuary at around five o'clock. The scenes all had to be reshot, and the whole time, my mind thought of nothing else but that kiss. I had been kissed by men before, but never had any of them left me with the kind of impression than Scott's kiss. Every time I caught his gaze as we went about the ruins, he would give that alluring, longing gaze. Sadly, I couldn't get to him since he was pulled away by his manager.

On the way back to the hotel, in the car, my phone dinged. It was a text from him. I opened it and saw a picture of me standing next to one of the buildings. My mouth opened in slight shock at how great this picture was. He had a knack for capturing me in the best moments.

I read the message along with the picture, and I smiled.

Sheva's rival. I'm sorry we couldn't talk while still at the sanctuary. Can we talk at the hotel tonight?

Sure, I sent back. What time?

I'm done with everything at eight, so I'll be back by close to nine. Is that okay?

Absolutely. See you then.

I look forward to it.

Me, too.

I put my phone away, and I gazed outside at the trees and hills, my mind on the obvious. If I lived to be a hundred, I would still remember that kiss. Every woman had that one special kiss in her life, and that was mine.

Once at the hotel, I went straight into my room and opened my laptop on my bed. It would be around 7am where Brittany was, so I called her up. She would be getting ready for work. Three seconds passed before she answered, and there she was on the screen. It looked like she had just gotten ready. Her brown hair was straight—she straightened it.

"Hey, girlie!" she greeted me. "What's going on? Something is on account of the grin on your face."

I squealed. "I just can't hold this in. He kissed me, Brit! He kissed me!"

"Who? That Joey guy?"

"No! Well, yes, he did, too, but..."

"Wait," she stopped me. "Joey kissed you? When? Tell me about it! How dare you not tell me!"

In this moment, I realized that I had kissed two men within the past two days. What a boost in confidence this was! I told her the story, and she was grinning.

"Oh my gosh, that's so sweet! So, you confused now?"

"No way. Listen, Brit, Scott kissed me. Scott! You hear me?! That hot man kissed me at My Son Sanctuary!" Her jaw dropped open. "And I don't know how to handle this. He wants to talk with me more about it tonight, and... gosh, how will we even start the conversation?"

She waved her hands in front of the camera. "Hold on, slow down. You have to tell me the story behind this one." She whistled. "Wow, being kissed by two hot Vietnamese men in two days... girl..."

"I know," I exasperated. "This is so crazy. Okay, I'll tell you everything."

I went on to tell her about everything that happened at the sanctuary, every detail. She was blushing after I described the kiss to her.

"I was in heaven, Brit, I'm telling you. It was so hot, him pushing me against the ancient brick wall..."

"Honestly, I can't think of a more romantic place to get kissed by the man of your dreams... in the mountains among thousand-year-old ruins... So, you guys hadn't talked about it yet?"

"No. He's been busy and will be busy until around nine tonight. I just have to wait anxiously for a couple of hours until then."

"No doubt you two are going to start something. You two are nuts about each other—you both even said so—so I think this is the start of a new relationship. I'm so jealous that you're going to start dating a hot actor."
