"Hey Y/n! Wait up!"
I glanced over my shoulder to see Eddie jogging up to my side. He threw his arm around my shoulder, his hair lightly tickling the side of my face.
"Wanna catch a bite to eat after school?" "Can't. I have Student Government after school, we're prepping things for homecoming." He groaned, dramatically throwing his head back.
"Isn't homecoming like light years away?" "Eddie, it's in 3 weeks." "Ok... what about after?" "I'll be planting trees with the environmental club." "Darn you and your school spirit!" He shook his fist in the air. I playfully rolled my eyes, pulling up to my next class.
Holding my books close to my chest, I twirled a strand of my hair, probably going to regret what I was about to say "... If you wait around for me, we could hang at my place," I suggested. "My parents won't be home..."
"Oh how scandalous! What mischief are we gonna get into tonight?" He rubbed his hands together and licked his lips in anticipation. I rolled my eyes and leaned forward. "Hopefully none that will get me grounded." "Scouts honor, I'll be on my best behavior," he gave me a child-like smile.
"Mhm. You should get to class."
"Can I get a kiss goodbye?" I shook my head as I opened the classroom door, "Bye Eddie."
