Open for the superficial
Sealed in emotion
How love's drug turns spiked potion
I've never needed a tissue
Rather twist the knife by drowning in my own tears
Never afraid or am I without fear.I wear my hurt like the melanin in my skin
Glamorous until you know the cost
Calculated self-forming weapons unleash reactions to keep my heart contained
For what kills you makes you dead
And what hurts you makes you cold
And what pains you makes you fear
And what triggers you makes you exposed
If that's the route you choose to go
A road that led to damnation
Yet I've made my way back
Back to the land of the living
Back to you.
