Valerie's POV
I was laying in bed daydreaming when Zeke appeared "Hey..." he whispered softly making me smile and whisper back "Hi" He reached out and wrapped his arms around my bare, swelling stomach.

I hummed contentedly before reaching out and resting my hand on top of his "They're growing so fast" he said, still speaking in a hushed tone making me chuckle "It's been almost three months" he looked at me with his hazel eyes and cupped my cheek...

I hummed contentedly before reaching out and resting my hand on top of his "They're growing so fast" he said, still speaking in a hushed tone making me chuckle "It's been almost three months" he looked at me with his hazel eyes and cupped my cheek making me lean into his touch. My eyes closed and a content smile appeared on my face.

"Have you decided what you're going to do once the kings come?" He suddenly asked making my smile twist into a frown "No....I've already accepted that our attraction towards each other was so that way I could have Jane and Alec's mates, but it still feels as if I'm betraying you.... I mean we literally got married and...." "What about the plans we made for us?" He finishes.

I swallow and open my eyes tearfully "I miss you" I admitted "I miss you too. I regret leaving you so soon, and I regret not being here for you and our babies" he confesses as well "Do you regret saving Derrick?" I ask he doesn't hesitate to say "No, he's a good kid. His grandma and little sister needed him" I nodded accepting it.

He suddenly looks to the bedroom door and says "It's time to wake up" I look at the door and-

I jolt awake as a crashing sound wakes me up from my dream. I hear Charlie swearing like a sailor and quickly throw on my cardigan over my pjs and exit my room.

I walk out to see Charlie trying to move a big box up the stairs solo "Charlie! What on earth?!" I shout before rushing over and attempting to help him only for him to shoo me away "I've got it, I've got it" he assures "Like hell you do!" I yell brushing him away and reaching out to pull the box up the last of the steps.

Charlie huffs as the box is officially pulled up the last of the stair and gives me a scolding look "You shouldn't be lifting heavy things" I resisted the urge to roll my eyes "Well, what were you thinking carrying a 25 pound box up the stairs by yourself?" He stumbles over an answer but I ignore it and peer over the edge only to see a few more large boxes.

"I'll call some friends to come help you, alright?" I ask before walking back you my room and calling Felix and talking to him as I got dressed for the day.

He assured me that he would come over and assist my brother and reminded me that the Kings were coming today. I thanked him before hanging up and looking at my boxed up room.

After finding out that I was having twins, Charlie declared that my room was too small and gutted the attic before painting the walls and installing carpet. He then proceeded to add a bathroom and a mini fridge with a microwave and bottle sterilization/coffee maker area so I wouldn't have to worry about going down two flights of stairs to make bottles for my babies.

All we had to do was move my things up there and set up the baby furniture which is what I assume is inside of the giant boxes.

The guards came over while Bella was at school so we didn't have to worry about her freakout. We set up the room and by the end of it, you couldn't even tell that it was a storage attic room.

Bella would be home in an hour, so I planned to start making dinner, having an odd craving for mushroom ravioli, when the sound of the doorbell ringing called out.

"I'll get it" I said as I stood up from my spot near the baby dresser where I was putting away their clothes and going downstairs. I walked over to the front door and opened it with a smile prepared to greet the unexpected company when my face morphed into one of shock.

"Ciao, mia cara regina."
