I wake up groaning. Sitting up feeling my forehead.
How long was I out?
I look at my surroundings. I'm in a house, glass surrounding me. There's also blood stains, multi-colored liquid, and...
This place is a mess.
I notice the color of the sky from the window. The color looks like a zombie-apocalypse orange. This world must be some kind of... Hellish dystopian Compton.
What the hell is this place?
I get up, stumbling for a moment. A throbbing headache starts pulsing in my head.
Pey looks confused and distressed as he feels like reality and perspective are changing-
I hit my head to "knock off" the headache.
I shake it out and leave the house. And as I see the new world ahead of me. I then notice and start running to this ghost town nearby.
And I ran,
And ran.
And he kept on running.
Breath recovering, I look at the entrance of the ghost town. There's this semi-visible dome around the town. The dome is like some kind of magical barrier, yet I can still go in.
So I do exactly that.
But when I go in, it wont let me out.
Slightly concerned, I walk back and bash myself to the barrier.
No luck.
I try banging on the barrier with my hands and legs.
No use.
Oh well. Guess I'm stuck here forever.
I walk around the broken-down city slowly being welcomed with music blasted by surprisingly working speakers. This place kinda looks-
*SCREACHH!!*
I jump to my right side, hearing a banshee attempting a close ambush on me. But, the banshee stopped, looked at me, then floated away.
Damn, that scared the life out of me.
Hopefully, even the headache too.
...
Ow, nope, never mind.
I continued to walk, yet I was very paranoid about another... zombie, banshee, or whatever ambushing me.
I really don't wanna become one of them, nor have zombie guts or blood on my jacket. This black under-armor jacket is one of my most epic pieces of clothing I've ever had.
And by the looks of this place, I won't be able to find another one like this ever again.
I look to my right side to see an alleyway with smoke filling the entrance. There oughta be someone there.
I walk into the alleyway cautiously, seeing...
Oh wow.
A Neko.
"How's the climb?" I ask him with slight regret.
He looks at me in a surprisingly chill way and slowly smiles.
"Gooooooooddddd."
I look confused at his long, slurred speech.
"Have you gotten bitten by one of those monsters?" I ask, pointing onto the monster-filled street.
Their smile forms neutral as I say that.
"NNNnnooooo?" He asked with a certain doubt in his voice.
"Okay... Well then, why are you climbing?"
"C-Causeeeeeeeeeee' I ccannnnn!" He responded. His neutral face turned back to his grin.
Better than frowning.
"Carry on-" He cut my cue to leave.
"Waiiiiittttt!!!"
"Huh?" I look back at them.
"Y-Y-You lookkkklike... um umumum... Doggggg! Yeaaaa Yeaaaa dog. Heheh. Yeah."
I look at them, confused, but the Neko doesn't care about the face I'm making, though.
"Alright?"
"Ooookayyyyyyy." They responded.
Augh. My headache is acting up again.
And I feel kind of tired.
I'm going to just...
Lie down on these cardboard mats here.
And,
...
And just...
...
Sleep.

The boy wakes up. Headache gone. He sees bite marks and scratches on his arm. Surprisingly it didn't hurt. Confused and knowing that the Neko did it, he looks up at the pipes. The Neko is not there. But then he sees that the neko is on him, and Pey flushes cherry blossom pink, confused.
"Why are you-"
"Yyyyourrrr verrryyyyy warrrrmmmmmm." They respond.
"Really?" He feels the cat's neck for the blood temperature.
It's lukewarm. Pey sits up, looking at the Neko.
"How do you-" The Neko cuts Pey's question as lets go of his grasp of him and returns to hanging on the pipes. They're already snoring, happily smiling.
"Nevermind." Pey slightly grins as he stands up. Bearing the minor pain of the scratches and bites. He smells like a cat now, but he doesn't mind. But something else does. It feels like his perspective or... something else has changed.
"Why does something feel...." Pey mutters to himself.
"Different?"
