A woman walks down the street, carefully avoiding hordes of zombies. She's walking back to her shop after a hardworking monster haul, while keeping the ghost town's tradition by wearing her costume on Halloween as it is today. Well, Halloween was today for many days and years. But this hellish afternoon she's doing something different. As she's wearing her comfy pajamas instead of her leather jacket. Her demon costume for Halloween is in the shop.

We shall call her Myra.

Another human on the roof is taunting zombies while wearing a costume resembling the grim reaper. She enjoys doing this during her free time, which free time is everyday ever since this hellish disaster made the town full of monsters lurking around every corner.

We shall call her Thorn.

Myra sneaks past a few more zombies to return to her shop. She looks forward, confused about why a large group of zombies surrounded a building, all angry. She then looks up at the roof and sees a girl (Thorn) mocking them.

"The shop could wait for a while." Myra muttered. She stealthily went to the side of the building, no zombies noticing her, and climbed up using an old escape ladder.

Thorn heard creaking noises from the ladder. She hid in her cloak. Making her invisible to the naked eye. As you can see, Thorn's cloak makes her invisible. For the one wearing it, It's very good for stealth, as no one could see you, but it's not very durable against melee and bullets. Myra reaches the top of the roof standing blankly in slight confusion.

"A-are you a monster?" A timid, invisible Thorn saying.

"Only if demons were real.'' Myra said playfully. Thorn smiled under the cloak and revealed herself!

"Then... Hiya! I'm Thorn! What's your name?"

"I'm Myra," she says coolly.

"Nice to meet you! Do you want to taunt some zombies with me?" she asked Thorn.

"Nah. I'd rather hang out with ghosts, but honestly, I can't find any..."

"Well 'I heard a rumor that ghosts love peanut butter. ESPECIALLY if it's at the haunted house, but I'm not sure." Thorn said. Myra chuckled.

"Maybe I'll try that, thanks."

Just then, the boy, Pey, hears commotion on the rooftop.

He looks around, and finds a ladder at the side. but as he walks to the ladder, some of the zombies notice him. They all look at eachother and ambush him.

"AUGH!"

Thorn then looks down from the roof and sees a circle surrounding what looks like a boy. She takes out her portable telescope and points it at the area. She sees more in detail as some of the zombies lose interest and leave. The rest are many zombies but... huh. There's a werewolf as well.

"What?" She muttered. She then looked at his face. A slash. She looks even closer and sees venom clashing with the blood oozing out of his face. "He's a goner," Thorn thinks to herself. "So he's momentarily going to be a werewolf. Great. Now what?" She muttered.

Just then, a note with an object floated down out of thin air. Thorn then grabs it, looking in more. The object seems to be some kind of injection mechanism that has some kind of bright gray matter in there. "But what does it do?" She mutters.

She then looks at the note and sees text. It says,

"In case of Rouge and Roughness." It says in bold.

"The hell does that mean?" The girl mutters under her breath again. She hears a howl down below and sees a blood-red-eyed werewolf looking dead-eyed at her. The wolf then sees the ladder and starts climbing up rapidly.

"Shit" Thorn muttered. She runs to the nearest corner on the roof and hides behind her cloak. "Where did Myra go?" The muttered. She then holds her cloak tighter as she hears the ladder creaks; he's here. The wolf sniffs the air around him. He finds a scent of a human dead close to him. Thorn quivers as she sees the newly-infected werewolf walk around, trying to find her. He pauses for a moment to hear the breathing. It came from one of the corners of the roof, which is the corner Thorn is at.

Thorn then grabs the note and syringe out of her pocket and rips the paper out making a loud

*RIP*. The wolf hears it and growls slowly approaching the sound. She looked at him. Of course, she was still scared to death, but it was a determined kind of scared.

Pey crouches and taps the thin and flimsy fabric, confused. He felt the softness of the cloak and got a grab of it. He then pulled the cloak away and saw Thorn, him growling. Once that happened, she stabbed the syringe at his neck.

Pey howled in pain from the sudden stab. It was a bit too strong as some blood splashed out of Pey's neck. In reaction he slashed his claws at her arm, holding onto the syringe. Thorn yelled in pain. More blood pouring down. She takes deep breaths with some hyperventilation in the mix, and tries to push the moon-gray liquid with her bloody hand, but she can't as the pain is too much; she then stood taller and pushed the liquid in with her other hand. Pey howled in pain and anger. He took the syringe out of him, and was about to bite her, but he felt...

Tired.

He yawned and fell on the rooftop floor, out cold. It's been a while since he woke up again. He would growl and snarl once a bit, but there was just silence after that. In the silence, Thorn sighs in relief as she tells her doubtful side that the scary instincts of Pey are now gone. She then sat down on the rooftop grounds and wrapped around bandages on her bloody wound from the scratch of Pey's claws. She winced in pain while treating it, but it's fine. She probably felt worse than this.

Minutes later, Thorn finished. She then sat in a fetal position, closing her eyes, trying to nap. But moments later, Thorn heard shuffling. She opens her eyes and looks back at Pey. Seeing him sat up inspecting himself.

"You're awake," she asked.

"Yeah. What happened?"

"Apparently, you got infectected by a werewolf and became feral like it. But you came up and I inserted this shot or whatever in you and I guess it made you more... Cute? Cute as compared to a regular werewolf; not like that."

"Yeah. Definetly." Pey glances and notices her fresh wound. "Shoot, did I do that?"

"It's fine. It'll heal after a few days." She said, grinning.

"... I didn't catch your name by the way. What's your name?

"Pey. You?"

"Thorn."

...

Distance hissing and screams can be heard in the distance. A paper also floats down to Pey. He picks it up and it reads, "New Deal!: Kill vampires, get rewarded!"

...

"So... Do you wanna fight vampires?"
