Chapter Ten: Friends in Need

The memory starts in Griselda's office.

"Your intrusion into Cloud Tower Castle was extremely rude, young ladies. You exposed yourselves to great danger, that's the reason why your powers have been revoked. It is sufficient punishment. For me, however, "sufficient" is not enough. Now, just so you remember this lesson, you will spend the entire day at school and you will clean the castle from top to bottom." Griselda told the girls with a huff.

"You already took away their powers!" Harry exclaimed. "Isn't that punishment enough."

"Yeah, we really should've gone to the concert." Mua huffed.

"Um, the whole castle?" Flora asked as Astra whined.

"But that'll take forever!" Astra exclaimed as Griselda shook her head.

"Not the whole castle. Just the stairs, corridors, classrooms and bathrooms."
"Oh well then then that's okay. I thought it would be worse, honestly..." Stella trails off as Bloom giggles at her. Griselda claps her hands, conjuring up the cleaning supplies for the girls.

"That is the whole castle though," A firstie pointed out. Stella nodded.

"It was."

"Too bad you did none of it!"

"And since you do not have access to your magic power for the moment..." Griselda started, grabbing a broom and handing it to Stella. "These are your work tools."
"What a strange object. Let's see what my computer says about it." Tecna says pulling out her pocket computer.

"Oh, and one more thing." With her finger, Griselda closes Tecna's computer. "No techno-gadget allowed."

"What?" Timmy asked, horrified.

"I am so sorry, Tecna." Digit sighs, looking on the edge of tears.

"Now that worries me." Tecna says, frightened. Astra huffs a laugh.

"Of course it would," Astra laughs. "Tecna and her computers."
"Yeah, it shows. The sad news is obviously upset you!" Musa mocks, joining in with the fun.
"Well, by Tecna's standards, she's actually shown too much emotion!" Flora giggles.
"I know. Ever since I met you guys I easily lose control." The girls break into laughter, though Tecna, is not amused at all. "It wasn't a joke but a simple observation!"

Laughter rings throughout the hall.

"Young ladies!" Griselda scolded, successfully shutting them up. "Tomorrow, I'll conduct an inspections. Everything better be clean. Now go!"

"Haha, we didn't pass." Astra laughs. Musa joins in with her as Cameron sighs in annoyance at her two best friends.

"Thanks to those three basterds!"

"It's not hard to use a broom; want me to show you how?" Flora asks as Astra grabbed it by the 'fluffy' end and winced as she stabbed her hand on it.

"Spiky," Astra huffs, throwing the broom away and cross her arms.

"Just like his hair!" A second year laughed, pointing to Riven. He huffs. Astra laughs, poking her fingers on his hair.

"She's right!"

"Nah, I'm sure I can figure out how to use these primitive implements." Tecna picks up a bucket, dumps out its contents and tries to figure out how to "use" it.

"Are you sure?" Flora asked in amusement. Tecna puts the bucket on her head as Astra picks the broom up and uses it like a sword.

"Of course!" They smile.
"Are you really, really sure you don't want any... help?" Flora asks nervously as the girls nod.
