The moon far up the sky is shining on the world,
It's lightning up the cold of a starry night.
It's beautiful surroundings almost seems like a bore,
Next to the divine show of the brightest satellite. For twenty seven days you orbit around us,
Making sure to sooth over the worries overnight.
And deep down I wish you would one day stop. Thus
I could cherish your stance in the hazy daylight.Who dare say Armstrong first walked on the moon ?
All my life, I've ran down it's land,
I touched it
Felt it,
All under my humble hand. And I danced for many hours
As I picked on the sand and rocks like flowers,
A flowers scattered field
Fueling bliss down my blood.
We all have the same moon,
And we should all enjoy it,
So drift off to sleep soon
And let your mind commit.
Commit to the euphoria
That our cherish moon provides.
Commit to the eudemonia,
Which our sacred moon implies. And you too, will feel it.
Down to your spine you'll shiver,
But up to your heart you'll admit
That never in a million years you'd be so eager,
To wander on the moon again.
And on lonely nights
When you miss your lover,
Do tell them to look at the lights
Up to the sky's hover.
And you'll stare at the same moon,
As you think of each other.
