"BB?" Price's voice called into the darkened armory. The woman softly groaned and lifted her head up from her work bench. Bolts and screws that were pressed tight on the skin of her forehead and cheeks started falling off. "I need a favor."

"What kind of favor? I have many favors lined up already." She motioned to the pile of broken weapons. Standing up Imani stretched and popped her back.

"It's not that type of favor, just follow me." He started walking, leaving her no choice but to follow. She turned off the bright lamp on the bench, leaving the room in complete darkness other than the hallway's glow. She softly hissed at the bright fluorescent light as it engulfed her form, she squinted as she trailed behind Price. He looked back and softly chuckled, bending down to pull off a stuck-on bolt from the corner of her mouth. It still glistened with drool "you should really be sleeping in your room." He straightened back up.

She softly groaned and rubbed her eyes "can't captain. Too much work needs to be done, gotta get those weapons fixed before the mission in like five days. Is it five days?" She rubbed her temples and yawned "then I must study for another medic-in-training test. I just have my plate full." And I do it with grace she added in her head, well as much grace as falling asleep at a desk and getting shit stuck to your face.

"That doesn't mean you don't need rest in your bed." He handed her the bolt and she shoved it in her sweatpants pocket. Finally stretching her arms up and leaning from one side to the other, followed by a quick squat to crack her ankles and knees.

"What's this favor by the way?" Veering the conversation back to where it needed to be. Price looked forward and turned to the west wing, the residential wing. He cleared his throat.

"It's König. You remember three days ago when his hood was pulled off in the mess hall?" How could she not, Alejandro's form was quick, even she didn't see it was him until he was huffing with it in his hands across the room. König and her made eye contact for a couple of breaths, his bottomless blue eyes filled with fear as he glanced around. She nodded towards Price. "He hasn't left his room since. And we need him in this next mission." She stopped in her tracks, slowly turning towards him on her heels.

"Can I take his place for this mission?" She rocked her weight to her toes, locking her fingers behind her hips giving the biggest of puppy dog eyes. It definitely helped that she had to look up at him, even puffing her bottom lip out to seal the deal. He shook his head and she huffed, slouching once more. "Seriously? When can I ever go back on the field?"

"We've been over this; we don't need more out in the field. Your skills are better matched here at base." She crossed her arms over her chest. At this point why did she even ask. "Look Imani, you're a valuable asset. If you're KIA not only would we need an armorer replacement, but a medical assistant replacement as well. And we just can't risk that."

"Valuable enough that I must go wake up the giant? Couldn't you get Ghost to do it? König is terrified of him! Or his best friend uh what's his name?" She gently slapped her forehead trying to wake her brain up.

"We already tried Horangi. I went the first day, he didn't budge. Then it was Ghost, but König got aggressive. And he wouldn't even speak or look at Horangi when he went in today" he started to twiddle his thumbs. "So you are kind of, sort of–definitely our last option before we have to use force to get him out." He gave a culpable shrug and a soft hiss. Imani felt her eye twitch as her hand on her forehead slid down to pinch the bridge of her nose.

She took a deep breath and waved her hand off at him "fine, I'll get the field soldier out of bed. But I need to get my secret weapon." She split from Price going down the hallway opposite to the male rooms. He raised an eyebrow and watched her disappear into her room. "Secret weapon?" He hummed. She soon emerged, shoving something in her pocket.
