(this is not serious I swear, I was told to write this)
Tord and Future Tord

Red leader was once again hiding away in his experimenting. He was working on something that even his most treasured men didn't know of. The last few tweaks were being done to the design, as Red leader took out a welding tool, flipping down his protective mask and letting the sparks fly. He was closing up gaps in the metal and repairing previous breaks in the structure. He had to be quite careful in order to protect the inner workings of his lovely machine, desperately needing to keep it in tact. If it didn't work, he was going to have a hard time accepting that he couldn't have the joy.

Of course, Red Leader had his reasons for making such a machine; despite his army, he needed the touch of another, and he couldn't bear to ask for it from anyone else. At least it would be a secret among himself, and he wouldn't have to fear anything getting out to the public. It brought Red Leader peace of mind, allowing for him to daydream about what on earth he would do once his work gave him his preferred outcome.

Red leader finished his machine that very day, however he didn't begin testing it until a couple weeks after. It took a bit of final changes to make it completely work, and once it did, he was pleased to finally get what he wanted. Red Leader set in exactly what he needed, and got it started, quickly covering his ears. One of few disadvantages to the machine was the impossibly loud, high pitch squealing that came from it when it was trying to work. It should be expected, though, when breaking the rules of the universe. Red Leader was pleasantly surprised when he opened his eyes, only to be faced with a younger version of himself.

Tord seemed to be confused and scared when looking at the Red Leader, unfamiliar with what just happened. Clueless, in the best way possible from Red Leaders perspective. The leader bit his lip in thought though, lurching back and closing his hand into a fist once he realized that he had to find a way to get Tord to his own room. He gave a sigh in thought, moving his robotic hand to clasp at his face and drag the skin down. Eventually, he came up with an idea, but he needed his past self to be quiet. The poor kid had been blabbering on and on in confusion, so he grabbed him, covering Tords mouth and taking out his radio.

Red Leader made sure to tell any possible person to stray away from the path he'd be taking, so as to keep his past self as hidden as possible. Understandably, those who heard the message were confused, but the soldiers listened to their leader without much halt. They all had business to attend to, anyway, and couldn't afford to lag behind on their duties. Red Leader pocketed his radio once more, letting go of Tord, who took a hasty breath, looking at the older man. "Why am I here? Why in the fuck do you look like me?" He pointed at the leader, who didn't seem too surprised at the shock. However, He forced Tords hand into his grasp, beginning to lead the boy out.

The Leader was hesitant to speak, but did so anyway, wanting to give Tord an answer. "I'm you. You're here to help me, you got that?" He forced Tord closer to him, getting a small bit of hostility in response, but it didn't bother the Leader too much. Once they reached his quarters, The older man brought Tord into his bedroom. Before Tord could even say anything, he was pushed down onto the loveseat. It elicited a huff of surprise from him, Red Leader plopping down beside Tord and leaning back. The older man patted on his own chest, motioning for Tord to lay down. "If you don't lay down with me, I'm gonna shoot you, kay?" The Leader said this rather calmly for it's contents, sitting up for just a moment to take off his coat. He gave a sigh of delight at the sudden loss of weight, grabbing Tord by the shoulder and dragging him down.

Tord was somewhat forced to just lay down on top of his older self, quietly looking towards the tv. His older self reached out for the remote, struggling for a moment before finally getting to it. he then changed the channel to something a bit calmer, something Tord would find familiar. Zombie pirates from hell 4. Tord just seemed to give up, figuring that fighting against his older self on this would simply lead to more difficulty. He slipped his arms beneath the Red Leaders torso, letting his head rest on the others chest. As he watched the movie, he could hear his older selfs heartbeat, the rhythmic pumping of the heartbeat making him feel tired.

Neither of them could help their eyelids from closing, Red leader trying to fight against the call of sleep. Personally, the Leader hadn't had a good nights rest in quite a long time, typically only getting a couple hours of sleep before waking up each day. It was something he'd struggled with for a long time, having started not long after he progressed to his title as leader. However, he found it difficult to fight his eyelids from closing, as they just seemed to stay shut progressively longer each time. Eventually, the two of them had both drifted off into sleep, despite the fact that they would have to part soon enough. The Red Leader really just needed someone to hold, and lay with in order to calm him down. He needed the warm embrace of another person, whether he wanted to admit it or not. Sadly, the man still had feelings and emotions, just as any other person.

They slept for a good few hours that night before inevitably waking up, and the Red Leader had to send his past self home. He truly felt Heartbroken to lose his source of fulfilling sleep, but he knew he'd have to find a way to sleep without anyone else. He decided to leave the machine up, just in case he needed that hold again someday.
