"Is she going to be ok?" Mike asked. They had just exited the ambulance and they were taking Katie away. "You can't enter here," a hospital worker stopped him form walking next to Katie, "she will probably be fine. I need you to stay here and call her parents for me, can you do that?" He nodded and Tami handed him her phone, the same one that they used to call the ambulance that may have saved Katie's life. He dialed the number that he had gotten used to dialing. He almost started crying again when her parents answered and asked who it was. "Hey, it's Mike." He gulped and told them everything. Katie's doctor was about to ask what happened when he heard it him saying it in the phone. He started taking notes. Mike was balling when he finished, Tami was to. Gavin was as well but he tried not showing it. Before they hang up they said, "We'll be there right away!" He handed the phone back to Tami. When Katie's parents got there they found Mike, Gavin and Tami. "Kate and Daniel are at your house Mike," he didn't trust himself to speak they then asked the doctor about Katie.mike didn't pay attention until the said that they could see Katie. He jumped up and ran with her parents, Gavin and Tami to her room.
