Author's POV:-

It was a gloomy morning for the four of them. Like even the sun was sad and hid himself amongst the clouds. The weather was pleasant, with no sunlight at all. This made Jennie even worse since she adored sunlight.

Jennie: What's wrong with the sun today? And guys? What's wrong?

Rose looks up at her and then looks at Jungkook, who was silently playing with his food. Jennie understands and looks at Taehyung, who was scrolling on his phone for the past few minutes.

Jennie: Kook! Stop playing with your food! Guys, come on! We should be happy, our breakfast time for today got longer by 10 minutes, you should be happy.

Though she said that, she knew that inside, she was also very sad.

Rose: No one is in the mood today. It's okay. By the way, Kai had come to our house, but then he suddenly disappeared, his luggage is still there.

With that statement, both Taehyung's and Jungkook's attention got attracted. Like Rose had planned this to make them all ears. Jennie understood this again and continued like it was nothing.

Jennie: Omo, really? Waah, isn't he supposed to take us back? I even forgot the map of New Zealand. Maybe I can call him. Wait, my phone's dead, oh no. (stares at the black screen of her phone)

Rose: That's because you were busy chatting with someone all night. (teases) But yeah, I have his number too. He'd taken my number before moving out. That seemed weird, but anyways.

Like even Fate wanted to join this act, Kai calls Rose.

Rose: Damn, speak of the devil and the devil appears. (accepts the call and puts it on speaker)

Kai: Hey chae, is Jenn there with you?

Rose: Yeah, she is. Why, what happened?

Kai: umm...can I talk to Jenn, please?

Jennie: Yeah tell me.

Kai: Jenn! Oh god, where were you last evening?

Jennie: Um, I guess, I told you?

Kai: Yeah ok fine. Anyways, your father called me. He gave me a piece of excellent news.

Jennie: What do you mean? Am I not supposed to go back home?

Kai: Huh? No. You will have to come back to New Zealand Jenn, everyone is waiting for you. I'm waiting for you.

Taehyung gives a weird look at the phone and rolls his eyes. Everyone notices it and lets out a chuckle.

Jennie: Whatever. I don't even care. I'm hanging up bye!

Kai: Wait! Please call me every time, I miss you- I mean your father, whatever. (hangs up)

Taehyung: What the fvck is wrong with this guy? Is he mentally unstable?

Jennie: Finally you talked. Let's go out this evening.

Rose: Where?

Jungkook: You should block and delete Kai's number from your phone. He's unnecessary.

Rose and Jennie look at each other and start to laugh. They loved the way their boyfriends just get protective of them in a fraction of a second.
