No One's POV:"La la la la la" Nahida was humming as they went along the forest approaching the deck of sailing to Inazuma. "Can you just shut up already?" Scaramouche tsk his mouth, and Nahida just played it off as if she didn't hear him. "Also, can you tell these weird-looking things to stop following us?" Nahida turned her head in confusion. "What do you mean? Do you mean the Aranara?" Scaramouche was confuzzled. "I guess so...?"
Nahida's eyes widen as Scara just stood bluntly. "I thought this would happen. But it seems they have taken a liking to you!" Nahida strolled through the sticks and twigs as she walked through the forest. Scaramouche stood there, still confused, why was she acting so weird Scara thought.
Scaramouche soon caught up to Nahida, but as he did, so did the Aranara. Every time the Aranara got closer to Scara, he turned to catch the little plantlike creatures getting closer, and closer.
Scaramouche was at the edge of escaping the forest, and had enough, "Okay! What is your deal?!" Scaramouche's tone was harsh, but the Aranara didn't seem to take notice. Nahida caught notice of Scaramouche, but I mean who couldn't he was as loud as a siren. "You still don't get it, do you?" Nahida approached the Aranaras and held one in her hands while sitting on a fungus-filled log. Scaramouche stood clueless, Nahida let out a sigh.
"Only children can see these entities, of which they are called Aranara, you have the heart, and the desire to dream, something many elders of Sumeru are not capable of. The older you get, you have the ability to remember. You have the mind of a child that has sought to dream." Nahida finally let go of the sage Aranara, he floated to Scaramouch's hands. "Ahh! Why is it-" Scaramouche was startled, but soon held it in his hands, and hugged it heartfully. The passion of Scaramouche burned in his fancied heart, which the Aranara sensed.
20 minutes later
Nahida and Scaramouche finally arrived at the deck, while they wait for the ship to arrive they grabbed some tea from a man selling beverages to soothe people over while they study, relax, or wait for the ship.
Hours pass by and finally, the ship arrived, the minute it arrived a shout came from the ship, the owner of the voice was no other than Beidou. "ALL ABOARD!"
Nahida was half asleep, so Scaramouche picked her up in her arms and made their way to the ship.
"Is that you little sister?" a strange man asked Scaramouche. "None of your business." the strange man jumped back, "Feisty I see." the strange man made his way to the edge of the ship directing passengers to come aboard.
As everyone settled on the ship, Beidou was fired up, and ready to hit the sea. "INAZUMA HERE WE COME!"
Beidou finally set sail.
"Nahida..?" Scaramouche put Nahida down on his lap to make sure she was all rested up, Nahida slowly opened her gleaming eyes and yawned. "Ahh, how long was I asleep for?" Scaramouche smirked, "Not too long, but I think you should go explore the ship to get familiar with it." Nahida nodded, "Okay! Before I go are you gonna be okay while I'm gone?" Scaramouche rolled his eyes, "Yes." Nahida giggled, "Don't get in trouble now! Bye-bye!"
Nahida set off to venture around the ship while encountering others aboard the ship.
The sky dawned down, Nahida was still exploring the ship, and making newcomers her friends. Scaramouche was drifting off into a sleep, he got up and saw a paled box, and rested his head on it while he dozed off in the dusked sky.
May 4th Thursday 6:00 am
As the sun rise into the softened clouds, Kazuha woke, he walked around the ship seeing everyone yawning, and stretching from the sleep they were encountered with. He strolled around the ship until a little boy, that looked around his age was still sleeping.
Purple silk-like hair, softened skin, an open-chested kimono with a compressed undershirt, with sandals. His eyes gleamed, and he felt a feeling of which a side of curiosity peaked from him. He kneeled to be at face level with Scaramouche until...
"Ahem? Do you need something?" Nahida was standing behind him with her arms crossed. "Oh, my apologies, is he your friend?" Nahida nodded, "Something along those lines." Kazuha bowed and was about to leave until something, or someone touched his hand. Shivers crawled all around Kazuha, as a faint touch made an encounter with his hands.
"Please, please don't leave me, not again... mother" words mumbled under Scaramouche's breath, as he muttered those words, his hands were gripped to Kazuha's delicate hands. After he muttered, he slowly awoke from his slumber, just to be encountered with his hand to be connected with another.
"Oh um... hello?" Kazuha was in a state of confusion, but just as Kazuha was confused so was Scaramouche. "What the hell-" Scaramouche words were cut off as his eyes met with Kazuha's eyes.
The ties of their hearts were sealed, but they didn't recognize it yet.
"I know you." Scaramouche stood up and slowly met eye-to-eye with Kazuha. "You do?" Kazuha was puzzled. "Your, your, hair, your face... Your my friend..." Nahida's eyes were astonished, she cut in saying, "Don't mind him, he's just tired, isn't that right?"
"Nahida, this was my 2nd betrayal..." Scaramouche stepped forward to Kazuha, "I'm sorry, but what do you mean-" Kazuha's words were ended by Scaramouche's hand touching his face.
After a minute of awkwardness, the realization just hit him, "Oh shit, I thought you were someone else, I apologies..."
Nahida got secondhand embarrassment, "Oh my, I think we should leave him alone." Nahida grabbed Scaramouche's hand about to drag him until.
"Wait! I'm Kazuha, Kaedehara Kazuha." Scaramouche was dumbstruck, Nahida soon realized, "Oh, the Kaedehara clan, that's why he said that." Scaramouche quickly reacted, "I'm Scaramouche, but you can call me Scara."
Kazuha smiled, "Alright, Scara..."
The wind stuck Scaramouche through the chest, making him turn around, as he did the breeze moved his lighted hair, for Kazuha to see the mark. The mark, the mark that marked him as a Shogun.
Kazuha didn't wanna be rude, he didn't think any of it, since he could have gotten it tattooed, right?
"God, I hate how the wind can be so unexpected."
"Isn't that the whole point? The unexpected is the way of life, if nothing is unexpected, what's the point of the adventure, the uniqueness, the love upon one to another." Kazuha smiled, as Scaramouche's cheeks grew.
"Ha, never thought of it that way."
Kazuha glared into Scaramouche's eyes, "Follow me." Kazuha had a friendly smirk of which Scaramouche couldn't refuse.
As he followed Kazuha he looked at Nahida having one finger over his mouth indicating to be careful of what might be in store.
But what Scaramouche and Kazuha don't understand is that she already knows their fate.
