Chapter 17

time skip to when Piorun finishes the book

*damn that was a good book*

Piorun looks at the time on her watch but she notices something odd the compass was pointing her somewhere deciding to follow it she gets up and noticing it was night she walks as silently as she could in the distance she can hear someone singing "num ba wan!!" 

*why is someone singing at three in the morning?*

shaking off the thought she continues to follow the compass it leads her to the port and out to sea

*eh might as well test top speed while I'm out here*

after leaving port she kicked the engines to flank and the new engine was happy to oblige the hull hummed the ship cut through the waves like a hot knife through butter eventually piorun sees what the compass was leading her, hiding behind a small rock formation she summoned her rigging in plate armor form she peaks around the rock to see several high ranking siren

???: well observer should we retrieve the cube for them?

tester: I see why not the simulation will need some outside force alpha

alpha: hmm that new one piorun was it?

tester: yes?

alpha: shes interesting

we see a figure walk up behind piorun and inject something into her she collapses but she hears things while she lost consciousness

???: well it appears we had someone spying on us

alpha: who is it purifier

purifier: the new girl you were talking about

tester: good we can take a closer look at her then

that was the last thing she heard before she blacked out over time she felt things happen to her but had no vision or hearing eventually she woke up he can move her head but her body didn't respond

*damn I can't move anything but my head*

she looks around and spotted several things the door or what she thought was the door with a small control panel a metal cart next to the bed she was on and several other things slowly she activated her power and gave herself small pulses of energy to manually move her limbs she sits up and sees the top of the cart it had various knives and tongs

*so this is a surgery room*

causing a small magnetic field she knocks all the tools off and forced herself on top of the cart making  a magnetic field to pull her towards the door she arrives there and places a hand on the panel and sends energy into it suddenly she feels feedback from it

*is this connected to a central server?*

forcing her other hand to grab her phone and a cord she finds a matching port

*Who would have expected the sirens to use USB?*

plugging it in she looks at the phone's display suddenly several prompts pop up she starts to send signals to the phone and one by one the prompts disappear she sees that she had access to a lot of files opening them she sees that it was a lot of orders for materials look through it some more she sees a file labeled upgrades opening it she sees plans and a lot of them but weirdly they all where for kansen they where even organized into faction, ship type, and class she downloads this folder quickly unplugging the phone and putting it back into her pocket she sends a pulse of energy to open the door quickly summoning her shotgun she aimed it down the hallway glancing around she sees the hall is empty making the cart roll forward she looks for indicators for an exit eventually she rolls into what looks like a reception area it to was empty
