"PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.." [Name] breathed out, collapsing on the ground as a wave of exhaustion overcame her.

It had been a number of hours since she unwillingly agreed to travel along with the three demon slayers. She had devised multiple plans to survive this long journey back to her village, one of them being to survive their mission.

To get to [Name]'s village, she had to walk through the Natagumo mountains which was once again, such a coincidence since the mission took place here.

That also meant demons were inside the mountain.

Upon traveling, it took almost a whole day for them to even reach the entrance of the place. Around midnight was when they first spotted the tall trees of the mountain.

[Name] was also annoyed at a certain yellow-haired male who was persistent on carrying her to the destination. She almost accepted the offer when 4 hours has passed through their journey.

"W-why does this place look so creepy!? I'm getting spooky vibes from that mountain!" Zenitsu sat on the ground, shivering in fear as he pointed ahead of him.

[Name] looked up, feeling the air blow on her face as if it was trying to lure her in. She felt the little hairs on her skin rise up as something inside her stir with unease.

Cautiously, she stood up with shaky legs.

She did not like the feeling, at all.

"Tanjiro.. is this the only entrance to the mountain?"

Tanjiro furrowed his eyebrows as he looked around.

"I believe this is one of the-"

He was interrupted by a gasp, alerting the four who all turned their head simultaneously.

Ahead of them was a boy laying on the ground, stomach on the ground as his hand reached out to the four in despair. He was wearing a colored uniform; the same uniform as the Demon Slayers.

The only thing that caught [Name]'s attention was the blood that was dripping from the side of his face, half of his skin ripped out.

"...Help... me.."

[Name] felt her heart stop at the words, slowly widening her eyes.

.. What?

Just as her thoughts started to form, multiple strings were attached to the boys back. Another gasp escaped his lips as he was suddenly thrown into the air, the webs bringing his body into the mountain like he belonged there.

[Name] covered her mouth, biting back a scream from the sight.

What the fucking hell was that?!

"Please, don't let me die here!"

His voice faded off as his body disappeared into the leaves of the trees. The last thing [Name] saw was his outstretched arm, and the look of horror on his eyes.
