The next morning we wake up to a knock on the front door. Rachelle gets up. I look at my phone, the brightness hurts my eyes. After a couple of seconds waiting for my eyes to adjust, I look at the time. It's 9 in the morning, way too early to function.

"Good Morning, Valerie was it?" Isaac asks.

"Yeah, you too," I say in a sleepy way. What is he doing here so early?

"Sorry I came early, just wanted to help out with as much as I can," He says.

"It's all good! We need the help," Rachelle says in a friendly way.
"Want some breakfast?" I ask them.

"If it wouldn't be trouble," Isaac says.

"Sure," Rachelle says.
--------------------------------------
After making breakfast, We start to open boxes and unpack.

"Hey, Isaac, you never told us your last name," Rachelle says.

"Oh, uhm, it's Martin," Isaac says sadly.

"Isaac Martin. What a cool name!" Rachelle says, trying to make Isaac feel better.

"Yeah," he pauses," Let's get back to the boxes."

We get pretty far with unpacking when Isaac finds a picture of my family.

"Where's your dad?" he asks.

"He," I pause," he uhm, he died when I was 5."

"Oh, so did mine," Isaac says, " He was on his way to work one day and something ran in front of his car," he pauses," It hit the windshield and he died."

"Where's your mom?" Rachelle asks.

"She got so upset over my fathers death that she had to be put in a mental hospital when I turned 12," He answers.

"Oh, that sucks," Rachelle and I say simultaneously.

"Sorry, it's sad," He says, sitting down on the floor," I have been alone ever since. I refused to go with child services. I ran away, now i'm here, pretending I have a grandfather in my house."

"You're welcome here anytime," Rachelle says, generously.

What is she thinking? Does she not remember what happened last night?! He could freaking kill us!

"As long as you knock first," I say, cautiously.

"Thanks, Rachelle. Don't worry, Valerie, I always knock," He says, his mood shifting ever so slightly.

"We should get back to unpacking, school starts in a few days and we still need a few things to do," I say, trying to change the subject.

We go back to unpacking. Maybe Isaac isn't as bad as we originally thought. Maybe it was just his friend over there. But I don't understand why they were arguing. Oh well, he's nice. I'll just keep an eye out for anything creepy about him.

-------------------------------------------
Around 8 p.m., my mom comes home. By this time, we have two rooms fully unpacked.

"Hey kids, did you have dinner already?" She asks, putting her work bag in her fully furnished and finished room.

"Yes m'am, Valerie made some for you too," Isaac answers.

Thanks? But I don't think she was asking you.

"Thank you, Isaac you should go home now, it's getting late," She says, noticing how tired we all are.

"We can continue unpacking tomorrow," She says.

"Okay, i'm always here to help, Missus. Just give me a knock, and i'm there," He says, pointing to his house.

"Okay sweetie, Goodbye!" My mom cheerfully says.

Isaac leaves and my mother goes to the kitchen to eat the lovely dinner I made. If you were wondering it was mashed potatoes, cooked carrots, corn, and some fried chicken. I'm quite the chef. I wonder if the school here has a culinary program. I'll ask Isaac tomorrow, if he comes to help again.

"Isaac is such a lovely guy!" She says, finishing her meal.

"He is, isn't he?" Rachelle says, getting googly eyed.

"He actually is," I say," I thought he was creepy at first, but he is a lot nicer, not creepy at all!"

"Maybe he can show you guys around during school," my mom says.

"Yeah, i'm getting pretty tired now, imma sleep," I say, walking to mine and Rachelle's finished bedroom.

----------------
The next day, we get the rest of the house finished. Isaac came over but nothing exciting really happened.

I asked him about school and he said it was like any other school. He told us about these girls name the "Landburgh Girls".Very clever *sarcasm*. They are the Queen B's followers. The Queen B is named Chelsea Cunning. Isaac said she is 5'5, has long blonde hair, blue eyes, orange skin, and dated a jock named Spencer Blackman. Spencer Blackman is the popular guy, who supposedly isn't like the rest of them. Isaac says he is nice and always tried to hang out with everyone.

After he was finished telling us everything, it was 10 p.m. He went home and we went to sleep when my mother came home.
