"May I know your name?"

Diretso akong tumingin sa kanya. "Damisona Dela Mar."

Nothing will happen even if I give them fake information about me.

Tumango siya. "Okay, Miss Damisona. If you ever need our help, we'll be there for you," saad niya pa.

And with that, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts. As I stood there, gun in hand, I couldn't help but wonder what my life would be like if I joined the Hit Squads. Would I finally find a purpose? Or would I be putting myself in danger?

But for now, I would keep the gun close and stay alert. Who knows what kind of trouble might come my way next?

My heart pounds in my chest as I realized that something is terribly wrong.

In a moment of fear and desperation, I made a difficult decision. May nakita akong escape route, isang maliit na lifeboat na makakapagligtas sa akin, but there isn't enough space for all the crew members. The weight of responsibility weighs heavily on my shoulders as I think about who I should bring with me on this boat. But there's no time to think. I prioritized saving myself and board the lifeboat, leaving my crew members behind.

As the lifeboat is lowered into the water, I watch in anguish as the ship's explosions intensify. I saw my crew members, their faces filled with fear and confusion, calling out to me for help. But I can't turn back. The ship is engulfed in flames.

I realize that it was just another haunting dream, yet the weight of guilt and responsibility lingers. The memory of leaving my crew members behind continues to haunt me.

"I should have been there. I should have stayed with them. It's my fault..." I whispered to myself, voice choked with remorse.

The flickering candle casts eerie shadows on the walls, mirroring the turmoil within my troubled soul. The weight of my past weighs heavily on me, and I battle with the memory that relentlessly haunts my dreams.

Slowly, I rise from the bed, determination etched on my face. I will seek redemption for my sins.

And I won't let their sacrifice be in vain.

I looked at the small table where the piece of paper was.

I have made a decision.

I will join the organization, the Hit Squad.

...

As I make my way to the headquarters, I can't help but wonder what lies ahead for me in this new chapter of my life. Will I find the redemption I seek? Will I be able to reconcile my actions and find a sense of closure? Only time will tell.
