Ch.30 Matts/Carol POV

Part 2
I arrive at the restaurant all sweaty and exhausted. I was yes indeed nervous. I told our waitress the plan and she was immediately on it. I started calling everyone and letting them on the plan. It was 4 and everyone was getting here. the party didn't start til 5 so I had an hour to finish decorating. We put up streamers and balloons and had the cake right in the middle of the long table.

Caroline's POV
I dressed in my favorite white floral dress. It had a big black belt on it and came with a black cardigan. I slipped into my brand new black heels. I put on diamond earrings and a white ring on. I did my makeup nice and special. Matt told me that I had to go meet him at a restaurant. I left the house making sure it was secure and locked. I went into my car and drove to the restaurant. It was oddly dark but I saw heads moving. "SURPRISE" my heart almost jumped out of my chest. I smiled and saw Matt come out of a corner I give him a hug and kiss. "Matt you did all of this? For me?" "Of coarse I love you sooooo much today is your day." I sat down in the middle of everyone as they all states and smiled. They had big grins planted on their faces. I wonder what was so funny? The waiter came by and smiled widely at me. What's going on? I guess today is a happy day. I order spaghetti and garlic bread. Luckily I grabbed gum. My food came first and I rather wait for everyone else to get there food before I dig in. Everyone was staring at me waiting for me to eat. "oh no it's ok I rather you guys get your foods before I eat mines". "Caroline we insist you eat your food." "Yea go ahead and eat." "dig in." everyone was telling me to eat already but that's impolite to those who are really hungry. thy stared at me and started to get annoyed that I wasn't eating. everyone's food came and we dig in. The waiter came back surprised I haven't ate yet. I started first on the bread and made my way to the spaghetti. everyone watch me take each bite. "is there something in my teeth?" I say out loud. everyone shakes there head. "then why are you guys staring?" They all stayed quite. I continue to eat until I notice why they were acting funny. There was a ring on my food. It was from Matt. He was proposing! I was a little angry because I bought a ring to propose to him too. The crazy thing was that they were the same ring. I decided to play a little joke. I twisted the spaghetti around the ring to hide it. I did my best to eat the spaghetti around the ring in my mouth. I dropped my spoon on purpose and went down to grab it. Once I did I spit the ring out and hid it in my pocket with the other ring in its box. I finished my plate and there was no ring. Everyone looked at me shocked. Matt started to panic and called the waiter up. He whispered in her ear and she nodded and said "I did put it in there." Nash looked at me and said "Caroline did you swallow anything?" I shook my head "just my food." Everyone got up and started to panic. I just sat there trying my best not to laugh. I couldn't hold it in. I bursted out cracking up and I grabbed the spaghetti ring. Matt smiled and quickly grabbed it. I stood up in front of him. "Will you marry me?" He said smiling like a goof ball. I pulled out my ring and knelt down in front of him. "will you marry me?" I said as he was shocked as much as I was. we both nodded yes and stared to laugh. we hugged and everyone cheered and laughed. I'm grabbed CJ and kissed her all around. I kissed Matt so passionately then I can. "this was the best birthday ever.i whispered to Matt. "and I have a nice sexy present for you waiting on the bed" he said winking.
