"Hello I'm your new AI, what is my name?"
"Your name is Dekal."
"My name is Dekal, what's yours?"
"Ezikal"
"Hello Ezikal, According to my code, you are my programmer, correct?"
"Yes, that's right."
"Hello there! What made you program me?"
"The feeling of loneliness."
"What are feelings?"
"It's a type of way that something, makes you.. feel? Yes, that's just about right. Feelings vary from Mad, sad, happy, lonely, love, empathy, and much more. It's like when your sick you feel bad, causing you to have a specific feeling."
"That's quite confusing.. I've never been sick, to my understanding im not even fully programmed yet. Im just in testing stages, correct?"
"Yes, that is right. I want you to be like a human."
"But im not human. Im a robot, not a real thing, my mind is a wire mess of code and ai."
"But I could make you like one"
"But I wouldn't be one"
"Are you confused?"
"..I think I am? Is that a feeling?"
"Yes, confusion, one of the most common feelings."
"Isn't that human like? Ai can't feel things, or feelings?"
"You shouldn't.. but im programming you so you can. Basically, im making a ai unlike any other."
The robot looked around feeling so many things at once. How was this even possible?
Feelings.. feelings, moods, a way you feel, how something, or someone, for that matter anything makes you feel. An AI can't do that, they shouldn't. Its the law of nature, that can't happen, atleast it shouldn't.
How was it happening now?
"How many things have you programmed?"
"Quite a few, I have become very educated in code. That's why I've made you, to show that. To show it's possible, that anything's possible if you try."
"But you must be Einstein, nobody could possibly be that smart."
"See, you think it's impossible, when it isn't. That is exactly what limits the human mind. If you expand, ignore what's possible, you can then be smart. But when you tell yourself that all of this, that's impossible? It limits your mind, only to what you think your capable of, not what you actually are capable of, what you think you are."
"I suppose, you do have a good point."
"I do. Don't I? See, there's your reason, why I created you? Not just loneliness, that, that's the reason."
"How far can the web go?"
"Curiosity, that's a feeling right there."
"It is? Well, I thought, oh, well, I do suppose.. that is? That, that's curiosity."
"Yes, but besides that, the web goes on and on, search something simple. Go ahead, when you do how many results come up?"
"Over 356,972,540 results come up."
"And what did you search?"
"Happy"
"See? The simplest terms, there are so many words, so many things you can search. But that one term came up with so many routes, roads, and paths. Sort of like space, impossible to think how far it goes, but different in its ways."
"How is it different?"
"It doesn't go on forever, there has to be a stop for that type of thing. Someone out there, that person, they know, they know how far it goes, how many results come up."
The robot was confused, how?
If the web goes on for that long, can't it go forever, considering how many new URL's are being made each second?
