"What the fuck, Sage?!?" Gen screamed.
She was pissed but idk why. This isn't like her. She doesn't get mad over stuff like this, she gets embarrassed.
"What the hell was that?"she snapped at me.
"I don't know, I'm sorry."I stared at the floor, I hated being yelled at,"this is going to sound cliche as fuck and really stupid, but I just needed to feel something, anything."
"You're right. That sounded cliche as fuck, and it sounded really stupid."
It got really quiet, and we just stared at each other.
"I have a fucking boyfriend, Sage!"
I looked down, I could feel the hot tears in my eyes. Her boyfriend Matt, how I could I forget something that big? I'm an idiot. There's no way in hell she would leave Matt for me, even if she wasn't straight. He was gorgeous with his silky brown hair and his mesmerizing chocolate brown eyes, but he could be such an asshole and he's the one who started spreading the rumors about how I planned to kill my dad and how the accident was staged and it was a part of my plan. I hated him.
I was forced back into the wall. It was Gen. One arm was next to my head holding her away from me and the wall and with the other arm, she held her forearm against my neck to hold me in place.
"I can't lie to myself anymore." She murmured just loud enough for me to hear.
"Wha-" I started to ask but was cut off by a pair of lips on mine.
I froze. Gen kissed me, she was kissing me. It was amazing, and, not to sound overly cliche, but the world around us froze and it was just the two of us. Obviously I kissed back, but the kiss was cut short as she froze and jumped back. I fell to the floor since Gen was the only thing holding me up.
"No stop!" She began taking, but I wasn't sure who she was talking to,"I have Matt, I'm happy with him."
She said more, but I didn't catch the last part because she was mumbling.
She turned stiffly, grabbed her bag, and climbed down the tree, leaving me sitting against the floor, aghast.

I'm sorry it's so short😁. I've had the worst writer's block😒 but writing this chapter gave me feels, it was great.
