Hello There!

Well, I know it has been a while since I have written something for the public eye and I wanted to change that. Since my last discontinued book, "The Capitol Tribute: a Hunger Games Fan-Fic" my writing has improved (as I keep saying). The two actual stories that I have written (one of them being a Star Wars fic) have been discontinued, but I plan (and hope that I stick to that plan) to complete this book. I would have continued the Hunger Games one, but it had so many grammatical and writing errors when I came back to it that I felt I would have to correct those before moving forward. I just can't bring myself to continue it, and I apologize. I tend to work better when I have a plan for the plot in mind, and the only part that was planned was the beginning, then the rest went downhill from there. With this one, I have pretty much the entire thing planned out.

It all started when I was originally going to write a fic exploring the scenario of "What if the Bad Batch met Delta Squad." I will admit, it was not planned out and would most likely turn out to be kind of bad. I eventually gave up trying to come up with a planned plot and then decided to mess around with ChatGPT. Long story short, ChatGPT helped me come up with this plan for where I want to go with the story (I asked it to write a conversation where Scorch is mad at Fixer for being so willing to just leave Sev behind). As you could tell by the title, it's based on the game (and some parts of one of the books, maybe) Republic Commando. This showcases the aftermath of Delta Squad's mission on Kashyyyk, where Delta Squad was forced to leave Sev behind. Scorch had the closest connection to Sev and was very upset by this and feels regretful and like he could have saved him. This one will be heavy with the Scorch pain but will ease up as time passes. Any constructive criticism is appreciated. I want to stick to the personalities of the characters while also showing them in other emotions sometimes.

If I'm being completely honest was a little worried to post this story. I don't want this to be a stupid idea, or another one I'm not going to finish. I feel really bad for never completing a story. I want this to be enjoyable for myself when writing, and for you all reading it.

Until completion, a new chapter will be posted every Wednesday, to give me time to write the new chapters.

All that aside, I hope you will enjoy this book, and may the force be with you.
