The antique exhibition hall's aroma of history and the aura of old world charm pervade the atmosphere. The wooden floors creak with every step, giving the impression that they have seen countless feet walking on them over the years. The walls are lined with shelves upon which dozens of antique items are on display, from old cameras to record players, from carved wooden furniture to delicate porcelain figurines and accessories. The low hum of background chatter mixed with the occasional sound of a collector bargaining with a dealer creates an ambient feeling of excitement. The exhibition hall is like a time machine, taking people on a journey into the past.

Taehyung is a passionate collector of antique items, always on the lookout for unique pieces with a history. His keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling has led him to acquire some of these items, like vintage cameras and other small ancient artifacts.

5th April 2023, is a special day for Taehyung. The day he got married.

Today he was here to purchase a gift for his dear husband for their 2nd anniversary. Taehyung wasn't good at selecting presents for someone and if he actually thought of buying something, his foot would lead him to an antique shop, purchasing a tea set or a clock. He wanted people to value the present more than judging the gift he gave them. But he has rarely given anything to anyone.

His husband was exceptional.

Taehyung's fingers traced over a bracelet with gold coloured linings, which had many small stones engraved on it. Bracelet was absolutely beautiful and he was sure that the bracelet would look even more attractive on his husband's pretty hand.

Kim Jungkook was his husband's name. He was much more beautiful than his name sounds. Getting married to a stranger who was chosen by his parents, and the stranger he was supposed to marry turns out to be so gorgeous and delicate, only Taehyung can relate.

The thought of his husband brought a smile to his face. His eyes fell on the price tag of the bracelet and his hand immediately jerked back and was back in his pocket, when he saw just how expensive the bracelet was. It cost more than Taehyung's monthly salary or rather say a whole year's salary. At times like this Taehyung wished to be a billionaire, so that he could buy endless things his heart desired. And also buy gifts for his husband because he knows how much he likes to receive presents from Taehyung.

He was deeply disappointed by his low salary, because he has to refrain himself from buying some things which he really wishes to buy for Jungkook. But Jungkook too never complains. He understands Taehyung's problems very well and that's what he really loves about Jungkook.

Taehyung slowly moved forward to other items displayed on the aesthetic wooden showcase on the wall. Only watching them from a distance and not touching a single one of them. Because if he did, he would surely end up buying it, wasting his extra savings as well. And Jungkook would surely not like that at all.

Taehyung is driven by the appreciation of the artistry and craftsmanship that he sees in the antique items he finds. He spends his free time hunting for treasures at garage sales, auctions, and antique shops. Even on a limited salary, he really couldn't stop himself from buying them. Jungkook tries to control Taehyung's habit of unnecessarily purchasing such expensive items. Because they would have to keep struggling for a whole month until they get the next month's salary.

And all Taehyung does is keep them safely in the room in their basement and never allow anyone to enter the room in his absence. He never even thought of using any one of his antique items to be used as a showpiece in their living room. That's how much he loved all his antiques he have collected over the years. Taehyung says that it's his hobby to collect such items but Jungkook believe that his husband have a crazy obsession with them.
