As the truck rumbled away from their old home, Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged somber glances, their hearts heavy with the weight of their decision. The sale to a guy named Kim Namjoon, the unsuspecting florist, gnawed at their conscience like a relentless beast, but they knew they had no choice. The malevolent force of the doll remained tethered to the house, making it impossible for Taehyung and Jungkook to simply discard it elsewhere. Leaving became their sole recourse.
Their belongings were hastily packed into boxes and loaded onto the truck, the echoes of their former life fading into the distance as they made their escape to Daegu as soon as the money from the sale was in their hands.
Jungkook's mind was consumed with worry, his thoughts racing with the potential harm they may have unwittingly brought upon Namjoon. But Taehyung's firm grip on his hand offered a sliver of reassurance, his voice a steady anchor in the storm of uncertainty. "As long as he doesn't remove the talisman, everything will be alright," Taehyung murmured, placing a tender kiss on the back of Jungkook's hand.
Meanwhile, in the quiet neighborhood they left behind, Namjoon approached his new home with a sense of excitement. As he reached the porch, his eyes fell upon the talisman hanging ominously on the door, along with the note of previous owners' warnings on not to remove it.
Namjoon scoffed in disbelief as he plucked the talisman and the warning note from its place and tossed it aside, dismissing it as nothing more than superstitious nonsense.
With a twist of the key, Namjoon attempted to enter his new abode, only to be met with an unsettling sight. The door groaned open of its own accord, the slow, deliberate movement sending a shiver down Namjoon's spine. A gust of cold wind swept through the open doorway, carrying with it a sense of foreboding that left Namjoon feeling uneasy.
As the door swung wide, casting a beam of natural light into the dimly lit interior, Namjoon's eyes widened in disbelief. A shadowy figure moved within the depths of the house, its presence looming like a specter in the darkness. For a fleeting moment, Namjoon hesitated, unsure of whether the previous owners had truly vacated the premises.
But any lingering doubts were swiftly dispelled when a faint voice of'welcome' echoed through the empty house, beckoning Namjoon forward with a chilling allure. With a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, Namjoon stood rooted to the spot, his mind racing with uncertainty.
Suddenly, as if compelled by an unseen force, Namjoon felt himself being pulled deeper into the darkness of the house, the door slamming shut behind him with a resounding bang.
And in the deafening silence that followed, a faint whisper brushed against his ear, sending a shiver down his spine. It was a chilling reminder that he was not alone in this house, and as he stood on the precipice of the unknown, Namjoon couldn't shake the feeling that he had unwittingly become a victim of something malevolent.
