04:: Beware Of The Possessed Toy

Taehyung arrives home after a long day at work, feeling exhausted and drained. As he approaches his front door, he notices a big familiar box lying in the dustbin outside. Curious, he opens up the box and his heart sinks as he recognizes it to be the doll he had purchased for his husband Jungkook as an anniversary gift.

"Jungkook threw me away. Your gift." A voice echoed around him and Taehyung instantly fell into a trance. Noise around him was fading away and only the doll's voice could be heard. "Jungkook said he hates me. Don't throw me away please."

'Why Kook-ah?'

Feeling disappointed and angry, Taehyung picks the doll up and keeps staring at it. He can't believe that Jungkook threw away his gift, and he storms inside the house to confront him. Now he could  even hear the doll crying as well.

"Jungkook, what is this?" Taehyung demands, holding up the doll. "Did you really throw away my gift? Why?"

Jungkook's expression instantly shifts into a look of fear and anxiety. "Taehyung, I'm sorry," he says, his voice quivering. "But I just can't handle dolls. They've always scared me since I was a child. And this doll is creepy."

Taehyung stares at Jungkook in disbelief. "Dolls? Really? But it looked perfectly fine to me. How can it be creepy?"

Jungkook shakes his head vehemently. "No, Taehyung, you don't understand. This doll has some sinister vibes. Every time I look at it, it gives me the chills. I just couldn't handle it anymore."

Tears start to stream down Jungkook's face, and Taehyung's heart breaks at the sight of his husband's distress. He puts the doll aside and takes a step closer to Jungkook and places a hand on his shoulder.

"Jungkook, tell me, I won't judge you." Taehyung whispers in a soft voice and pulls Jungkook against his chest. The younger one broke out into tears.

"When I was about 10 years old, I had a really bad experience with a doll that has stayed with me ever since."

Taehyung's eyebrows rose in surprise. Jungkook shifted uncomfortably. "It was a present from my sister for my birthday. She knew I liked playing with action figures, so she got me a doll instead. I remember feeling excited when I opened the box, but as soon as I saw the doll's face, something inside me just... shifted."

"What was wrong with its face?" Taehyung asked, leaning forward, brushing Jungkook's bangs out of his face.

"It was just too realistic," Jungkook said shakily. "It looked almost like a real baby, with those glassy, soulless eyes. And when I picked it up, it was so heavy, all the weight concentrated in its center. I couldn't shake the feeling that it was watching me, even when I looked away."

Taehyung frowned in concern. "That does sound creepy. Did you tell your sister?"

"I tried to," Jungkook said. "But she just brushed it off and told me to enjoy my present. She was much older than me and I didn't want to disobey her, so I kept the doll in my room. But every time I was alone at home, I felt like something was watching me. It got worse at night, when it was just me and the doll in my room. I swear, Tae, I could feel it breathing."

Taehyung pulled Jungkook closer once again. "That must have been terrifying, Kook-ah. What did you do then?"

"I tried to ignore it," Jungkook admitted. "But one night, I woke up and the doll was sitting on the edge of my bed, staring at me with its glassy eyes. I don't know how it got there - maybe I was sleepwalking, or maybe it was really alive. All I know is that it felt like a nightmare came to life. I screamed and ran out of the room, and my parents had to calm me down. I couldn't sleep alone in my room after that."
