October 22nd 1998

'I'll miss you so much!' I said.

Saying goodbye is not something I usually do.

'I'll miss you to.' Bill said. While I hugged him crying. Bill was the nicest, he always listened to me.

I ran over to each and everyone of them. I'd known them for what feels like ever! I never wanted to say goodbye.

'Gustav! I'm going to miss you. Thank you for being my friend.' We hugged. Gustav was always there for me, he made me feel better when I was down.

I then went to Georg.

'I don't know what I'll do without you Georg! Thanks for the laughs!' Georg was the funniest, he always put a smile on my face.

Then I went to Tom. Oh Tom. I was the closest to him, so I knew it would be the hardest on him out of them all.

'I'm going to miss playing out with you Tom.' I said while hugging him.

'You have to promise me one thing Maddy.' He said, 'Promise that you won't forget me.'

'I promise! And you have to promise me that we will always be best friends.' I replied.

'I promise.' He said, and we hugged again.

'Maddy! We have to go now we are going to miss our plane!' My mom shouted

I looked at Tom one last time, 'Goodbye Tom.'

'Goodbye Maddy.'

I started to walk away and turned around so I could see them all.

'And promise me you will all keep our band up!' I asked them.

We had a little band called 'Devilish'. Well it wasn't a proper band. Yet. I wasn't very keen on the name but everyone else liked it so I pretended to like it to. Every other day we would all go to the Kaulitz's house and make little pieces of music. Bill and I would sing, Gustav would play the drums, George would play bass and Tom would play guitar.

'We promise!' They all said at the same time.

'Maddy!' My mom shouted. Again.

'Coming!' I replied, turning around and running to the car that was parked outside the Kaulitz's. I got in the car with my mom and my dad. I then closed the door and put my seatbelt on. My mom then rolled down the window for me.

'Bye' was the word i mouthed as I waved them goodbye from the car, as my mum pulled out the driveway.

We were coming back to visit Germany every 4 months because my moms family live here. But we also have to go to France every 6 months to visit my dads family. But since I'm not fluent in French, im not that close with them. Apart from my Auntie. I love my Aunt.

We were moving to America for my dads new job. I was excited because I learned to speak English, it's quite easier to learn then french, and New York City seems like a very cool place to move to.

But oh, was I going to miss Bill, Gustav, Georg and Tom. Especially Tom.

heyy! this chapter is a short one bc it's like a recap from when Maddy was 10 and she moved away the next chapter will b completely different and about when she comes back to live in Germany. That chapter will b set 2004 onwards.

Also let's just pretend there speaking in German and if any thing is in another language, French, english etc, i make sure u know.
