We parked outside my old house. We hadn't been back to Germany for 2 years because we couldn't afford the tickets. It's like $500 for each person and we needed that money for other things.

Well what's happened to me since I left? My mom and dad got divorced and he left us for another woman so my mom took us to live back in Germany. Last time I came here I was 13 and I got all the guy's numbers. Now I'm 15 and I'm back. We all called a few times but after we slowly stopped. The only person I continued to call was Bill, so I was really excited to see him.

'Maddy! Come get your bags!' My mom shouted.

'Coming!' I said in German. I need to speak it as much as I can before school starts.

I got my bags from the boot and opened the front door of the house with the key my mom gave me earlier.

I dropped my bags at the side of the door and went back outside.

'Can I go to the Kaulitz's?' I finally spoke, after repeating it in my head for the last 10 minutes.

'Yes sure. But only for 20 minutes we need to sort the house out.' My mom replied. I was surprised she said yes. I thought she would tell me to help her sort out the house first.

'Thanks!'

I didn't tell Bill or anyone that I was coming because i wanted to surprise them. The Kaulitz's only lived two houses down the street from me, so it didn't take long to get there.

I walked up to the front door and knocked 3 times.

Everything looked similar. From the colour of the door, to the curtains at the window.

'Can I help you?' Came a voice as the door opened. It was Simone, Bill and Tom's mom.

'Maddy! Oh my god! You never told me you were visiting! It's so lovely to see you!' She said while bringing me in for a hug.

'It's nice to see you to Simone! But i'm actually staying this time.'

'You are? That's great to hear I'm sure the boys will be happy. They haven't seen you in ages!'

'Mhm! and talking about them, are they here?'

'Yes all 4 of them. There in the spare room. You remember where that is?'

'Yeah I think so.'

'You'll probably hear them. Come on in just head up.'

'Thank you Simone.' I said taking of my shoes.

'No problem.' She answered and she went back into the kitchen.

I head up the stairs. It was so nostalgic.

I heard them as I went up the stairs, it sounded like they were arguing.

I knocked on the door, 'Come in mom!' Came a voice. I slightly recognised it. Must've been Tom.

I slowly opened the door and stuck my head through.

There was silence for a few seconds and then so many voices.

'Maddy?! What the fuck! where did you come from!' Bill shouted as he ran up to hug me.

'Maddy?' Came another voice. It was Gustav. We did our handshake that we made when we were 9.

'Madeline! I missed your annoying voice.' I didn't even have to look to know who that was. Georg. Always been the funny one.

'Very funny Georg.' I said hugging him. But that was when He, caught my eye. Tom. He was standing behind Georg waiting to say hi to me.
