A week had passed since Jenn's funeral and her death was definitely taking a toll on you. You were having trouble sleeping, you weren't eating nearly enough, and you hadn't left the house. You were isolating yourself from the world and it was wreaking havoc with your mental and emotional health. You were in deep depression mode and you couldn't focus on anything.

Jamie came walking by the couch and saw that you were asleep as you cuddled up to one of the couch pillows. He stopped in his tracks and smiled a little at you. He was glad that you were finally getting some type of rest. You had been through a rough week and he was getting worried about your mental state. His phone started to go off from his pocket. He was quick to pull it out and mute the sound. You continued to sleep and he let out a sigh of relief. He quietly made his way around the couch and grabbed the blanket that hung over the arm rest. He opened it open and carefully covered your lower half. You stirred for a moment and then continued to sleep. Before he left your side, he placed a gentle kiss on your cheek.

"I love you," he whispered before he stood up.

He wrote a note to you about where he was heading. He quietly gathered his things and headed out of the house.

When you opened your eyes, you realized that you had fallen asleep on the couch. As you slowly sat up, you saw that Jamie had placed a blanket on your lower half. There was a note on the coffee table next to your phone and you picked it up to see that it was Jamie's handwriting.

Heading to the studio
Be back a little later
Call if you need me!

Love you,
Jamie

You set the note back down next to your phone as you swung you legs over. You placed your feet on the floor as you stood up from the couch. You became slightly dizzy and closed your eyes as you held your head with your hand. You thought maybe it was because you stood up too fast from the couch.

Once the dizziness wore off, you started to walk over towards the kitchen. You stood there for a moment before you glanced over at the fridge. On the fridge held up by a pink magnet was a picture of you and Jenn. Tears came to your eyes as you lifted your hand up and lightly touched the picture.

You headed towards the bathroom to get a shower. As you stood under the shower head, you let the hot water cascade down over your hair and your body as you closed your eyes. Tears mixed in with the water and you brought you hands up to your face as you started to sob. You leaned back against the wall and slowly slid down until your bottom reached the tiled floor. As you brought your knees up to your chest, your rested your head on top of them and wrapped your arms around yourself. Sobs escaped your mouth.

Jamie came into the house and looked over to see that you were no longer asleep on the couch.

"Y/N, I'm home," he said as he listened for you.

He kicked his boots off and set his things down on the island counter before he looked around for you. As he walked towards the bathroom, he saw that the light was on under the door and he could hear the shower on.

"Y/N, I'm home. Can I come in?" he asked as he pressed his ear against the door.

The moment he heard your sobs from the other side of the door, he felt sadness take over. He reached down, grabbed the door handle, and slowly opened the door.

The sight before him broke his heart. Through the fogged up shower glass, he could see you sitting on the shower floor with your knees drawn up to your chest. He grabbed a fresh towel from the cupboard and walked over towards the shower. He opened the door and reached in to turn the water off, not caring that he was getting a little wet. As he kneeled down in front of you, he opened up the towel. You felt the towel wrap around your body.
