                                    Kaden
Yeah, this feels like home. No matter how far I run away from this place, it'll always pull me back somehow. Here I am, once again, standing on the gates of Barcelona-El Prat Airport. Not a single thing has changed. It's all the same.
"Mr Davenport?" A man in a black suit calls out to me. "I've been sent by Mr Blackford. If you would follow me" He leads me, my younger sister Avery and friend Malcolm into a car, and loads our stuff into the trunk. "Why the hell is it so hot here" Malcolm fans himself and looks toward me, expecting an answer. "You're in Barcelona, Mal. If it's not hot here where will it be?"
That flight was a nightmare. Even first class can't save you from the screaming baby. They wouldn't let me get a second of sleep on a 7 hour flight. I lean my head against the headrest, and as soon as the car starts moving, I'm out like a light.

Half an hour later, I'm walking through the doors of Blackford villa. Instantly, I hear the clacking of heels against marble and the voice of Ivy, a woman I've always considered my second mother. She's wearing a yellow dress, and looks as if she hasn't aged a day. "You guys are here! We've been waiting all day"
Avery leans in to hug her first. "It feels like I haven't seen you in forever, Ivy. I've missed you so much!" She breaks apart from the hug to kiss Ivy on the cheek. "You think I didn't miss you? You didn't even have the decency to call!" Ivy glares at Avery with a pointed look. "Yeah, I know. That's on me."
The second Avery steps out of Ivy's way, it's me who throws himself into her arms. She wraps her arms around me and pats my back reassuringly. "How much did you grow, Kaden? Last I saw you, you were upto my shoulder. Now I have to crane my neck just to get a better look at you." She places her hand on my cheek and I lean into her touch. "Well, it's been almost a decade. I wasn't going to remain the scrawny kid I was." She laughs and kisses my cheek gently.
I move away from her and she sends a confused look my best friend's way. He extends his hands and says, in the most polite way "Hi, I'm Malcolm. How are you? I trust Kaden told you I would be joining you this summer?" The fucker always had his own special ways to charm people. "Of course he did. Welcome to Blackford, Malcolm." She reaches out to shake his hand.
Just then, a loud voice comes from the top of the staircase. "Well, if it isn't Avery and Kaden Davenport?" Ezra slides down the railings and lands directly in front of me, his dark hair spilling onto his face."Hey! What's up man?" I give him a one armed hug and Avery completely barrels on top of him. "Why is everyone getting so tall. I'm the only one left short" She complains as she looks up at Ezra.
"Don't you worry. Your other half is still same old, same old."
Listening to her being mentioned, I freeze. Shit. I promised myself I wouldn't let this happen. I quickly direct my attention to Ezra, who is now talking to Malcolm. "So it's your first time here?" He asks Malcolm. "Yeah, actually it is.""Well then there's so much to show you. You'll have to catch up soon since there's a shit ton of history between the four of us."
"Four?" Malcolm asks with a puzzled expression. "Yeah. Me, Avery, Kaden and..." He's cut off as a voice comes up from the driveway outside the main door.
"Hey bitches!"
Sitting in her Porsche, in front of the water fountain is...
Yeah. And Rayne.
