I jump when a scream randomly echoes. At first I get confused and stare at the tv where there's still eerie music playing before the jump scare. Another scream come from my right the source being Connor who just whacked a laughing Calvin over his head for scaring him. "Not cool you piece of shit." I quietly laugh at the two and turn my focus back to the screen.

This time I actually jump a little due to the jump scare on the screen clutching a pillow to my chest. A hand makes it's way to my lower back and I almost scream. "Stop hogging the blanket." A voice whispers dangerously close to me. Vinnie. His mouth presses to my ear and it almost makes me sigh in pleasure.

I quickly turn to look at him with an unamused face and pull the blanket giving him none at all.

He leans down again to whisper in my ear his fingers stroking the bare skin of my back sending shivers down my spine. "You know sharing is caring." His breath fans my face, he smells like mint.

I roll my eyes and give him some of the blanket focusing back on the movie seemingly aware of the hand on my back that never left. His fingers unconsciously rubbing my back. Not that I'm complaining, it felt really good.

Alana

It's been a week since we had the movie night and the moment between me and Vinnie. Nothing has happened since then except cursing each other and flipping each other off.

I grab my guitar and strum the tune of a song I wrote a while back.

"Did you write that?" I jolt back when I hear the voice and eyes shoot up. "When did you get here?" Vinnie leans against my doorframe in sweats and a fitted white tee. "I was passing and heard you so I uh" I scratches the back of his neck.

"You uh?" I look at him with suspicion written all over me. "I like your voice." He compliments and I'm take aback expecting an insult. "Thanks I guess."

"Who's it about?" He looked jealous? Confused? I can't tell Vinnie is hard to read. "No one. It's inspired by a book I read." He nods as if to say 'makes sense.'

"What'd you want?" I ask. He just shrugs. "Patrick and Connor are visiting family so they'll be gone for a week." I signal him to get to the point. "Oh and uh Alex got pizza and wanted me to call you." I quickly put my guitar away and stand up following behind Vinnie.

"Alana come sit with me we need to talk." Alex gestures me to the couch uh oh he's holding the camera. I sit next to Michael who hands me a disposable plate with a slice of pizza. Vinnie sits next to me grabbing a slice for himself.

"So as we know Vincent has a fight next week." He states the obvious and I nod. "We are all very excited for it." He once again states the obvious. We hear a gasp behind us. "Vincent Cole Hacker should you really be eating that slice of pizza a week before your fight?" Mia lectures like the mother hen she is.

Vinnie drops the slice before he could even take a bite. "No Maam." He instantly replies making all of us laugh. "Yes so back to the topic at hand, Alana how do you think Vinnie will do?" I look at the boy in question and he just looks at me waiting for my answer.

"Honestly I don't know I've never really seen Vinnie fight in the time I've known him. So I can't really tell." I shrug. Vinnie raises his eyebrows at my answer. "So you think he'll get his ass kicked." Alex says that more like statement rather than a question.

"No no I don't mean that please tell your fans not to come for me." I plead Vinnie who just chuckles. "Oh they definitely will." He smirks. "What I meant was we never know that he could be an amazing fighter." That came out wrong.

"I love how she just roasted you dude." Jack says from the kitchen and Alex points the camera at him. "Okay no more talk about fight." I state. "So you're not interested in the hottest topic right now?"

"Kouvr I might kill your boyfriend." I look at her and she gives me a thumbs up. "Well then I can finally have you." She shoots me a wink.

"What I thought Alana and Jack might end up together now that's a plot twist." Thomas says grabbing a slice of pizza. I almost choke on my pizza and feel Vinnie tense beside me.

I look at Jack who tried not to laugh. "Dude no I think of him as a brother." I laugh. "Oh my bad." Thomas looks embarrassed.
