Jungwon's head was pounding as he slowly sat up in the unfamiliar bed. The memories of last night started to flood back into his mind, and he groaned in shame. He couldn't believe he had made out with the new girl from the university, especially after promising Y/n that he would be faithful to her.
Jungwon quickly got dressed and made his way out of the apartment, feeling like a complete idiot. He knew he had messed up big time, and he didn't know how to make it right with Y/n.
As he walked down the street, his phone started buzzing in his pocket. He took it out and saw that it was Y/n calling him. Jungwon's heart sank as he answered the call, knowing that he had to face the music.
"Hey," he said, his voice low.
"Jungwon, where are you?" Y/n's voice sounded tense.
"I'm walking back to my apartment. Look, Y/n, about last night-"
"I don't want to hear it," Y/n interrupted him. "I can't believe you would do this to me, Jungwon. I trusted you."
"I know, and I'm sorry. It was a stupid mistake, and I regret it so much. Please, Y/n, let me make it up to you."
Y/n sighed on the other end of the phone. "I don't know, Jungwon. This is really hard for me. I need some time to think about everything."
"I understand. Please, just give me a chance to make it right."
"I'll think about it. Bye, Jungwon."
Jungwon hung up the phone and leaned against a nearby wall, feeling like the biggest jerk in the world. He knew he had to do something to win Y/n back, but he didn't know where to start.
~ With Y/n ~
Y/n tried to distract herself by focusing on her studies, but she couldn't help but think about Jungwon and how much he had hurt her. She didn't understand how he could be so careless with her feelings and their relationship.
As the week passed, Y/n received messages and calls from Jungwon, but she didn't answer any of them. She needed time to process everything that had happened and figure out what she wanted to do next.
On Friday evening, Y/n was sitting in her dorm room when she heard a knock on her door. She didn't expect anyone, so she hesitated for a moment before getting up to answer it.
When she opened the door, she saw Jungwon standing there with a bouquet of her favorite flowers. He looked tired and sad, but his eyes lit up when he saw her.
"Can we talk, please?" he asked, his voice soft and pleading.
Y/n hesitated for a moment before nodding and stepping aside to let him in.
They sat down on her bed, and Jungwon began to speak. "Y/n, I know I messed up. I was drunk, and I wasn't thinking. I didn't mean to hurt you, but I did. I'm so sorry."
Y/n looked at him, unsure of what to say. She still loved him, but she didn't know if she could trust him again.
"I don't know if I can forgive you, Jungwon," she said softly. "I trusted you, and you broke that trust. I need time to figure things out."
Jungwon nodded, looking down at his hands. "I understand. I just wanted to apologize and let you know how sorry I am."
Y/n didn't say anything else, and Jungwon got up to leave. As he walked towards the door, he turned back to look at her.
"I love you, Y/n," he said. "And I'll do anything to make it right."
Y/n watched as he walked out the door, feeling conflicted and confused. She knew she still loved him, but she wasn't sure if she could forgive him for what he had done.
