Jungwon held Y/n's hand tightly as they walked into the university, both of them feeling overwhelmed by the attention they were receiving from their friends and classmates. Y/n couldn't believe it - just last night, Jungwon had gotten down on one knee and proposed to her in the middle of his apartment. And she had said yes!
As they made their way through the crowd, they were congratulated by their friends and classmates, some of whom hugged them and others who shook their hands. Y/n could feel her cheeks turning red with embarrassment, but she couldn't help feeling happy and grateful for all the love and support they were receiving.
Jungwon wrapped his arm around Y/n's waist and pulled her closer to him, whispering in her ear, "I love you so much, Y/n. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
Y/n smiled up at him, feeling her heart flutter in her chest. "I love you too, Jungwon," she replied, leaning in to kiss him on the cheek.
As they made their way to their classroom, Y/n couldn't help but feel excited for their future together. They had been through so much in the past year, but they had come out stronger than ever. With their engagement, she knew that they had a lifetime of love and happiness ahead of them.
~ Lunch break ~
Jungwon and Y/n sat down with their friends Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Niki at a nearby cafe during their lunch break. Heeseung was the first to speak up, "So, Jungwon, when's the big day?" he asked with a grin.
Jungwon chuckled, "I don't know yet. We just got engaged last night. Give me some time to plan."
Jake added, "Yeah, man, take your time. You don't want to mess this up."
Y/n laughed, "Oh, he better not mess it up. I've been waiting for this for a long time."
Sunghoon playfully nudged Jungwon's shoulder, "Don't worry, we'll help you out. We'll make sure everything is perfect."
Niki leaned forward, "Have you guys thought about the theme for the wedding? Will it be traditional or modern?"
Jungwon and Y/n looked at each other, "We haven't really talked about it yet. We just want something simple and intimate," Y/n replied.
Sunoo grinned, "That sounds perfect. You guys can't go wrong with that."
Jay leaned back in his chair, "Just make sure you invite us all, okay? We want to see our boy finally tie the knot."
Jungwon and Y/n smiled, "Of course, you guys are all invited. We wouldn't want to celebrate without our closest friends."
~ 2 months later ~
Y/n had been planning this surprise for weeks. She was nervous but also excited to see Jungwon's reaction. She decided to tell his closest friends first so they could help her plan the big reveal.
As they sat around the table at a small café, Y/n took a deep breath and told them the news. Their eyes widened in surprise, but soon, they were all congratulating her and hugging her tightly.
Jay was the first one to ask, "When are you due? Have you seen a doctor yet?"
Y/n smiled, "I just found out a few days ago. I have an appointment next week."
Heeseung added, "You know, we have to make this a big birthday party for Jungwon now. It's not every day you turn 22 and become a dad!"
Jake nodded in agreement, "Yeah, we'll throw a big celebration for him. Maybe we can even get him a cake with 'Happy Birthday, Daddy!' written on it."
Sunghoon chuckled, "And we'll have to get him a gift that's baby-related. Maybe a onesie with his face on it?"
Sunoo added, "We should also start planning for the baby shower. We have to make sure it's as great as the engagement party!"
Niki grinned, "I can't wait to be an uncle! Congratulations, Y/n!"
Y/n felt overwhelmed with their support and love. She knew that she was lucky to have such amazing friends.
As they finished their lunch, Y/n couldn't help but feel grateful for everything that had led up to this moment. From the heartbreak and pain of their break up to the joy and love they now shared, everything felt like it was falling into place.
She knew that there would be challenges ahead, but with Jungwon by her side and the support of their friends, she felt ready to face whatever the future held.
~ At the birthday party ~
Y/n and the boys had planned a surprise birthday party for Jungwon. They had decorated the apartment with balloons, streamers, and a birthday banner. Y/n was nervously pacing around the living room, waiting for Jungwon to arrive.
Finally, the doorbell rang, and Y/n rushed to open it. She greeted Jungwon with a kiss and led him inside. He was surprised to see his friends there, and they all shouted, "Happy Birthday!" As he walked in.
As they settled in, Y/n asked Jungwon to close his eyes and hold out his hand. She placed a small gift box in his hand, and he opened it to find a onesie with the words "Daddy's Little Miracle" written on it.
Jungwon was speechless and stared at Y/n, who was smiling ear to ear. "Are you serious?" he asked, still in disbelief.
Y/n nodded and hugged him tightly. "I'm pregnant, Jungwon. We're going to have a baby," she whispered in his ear.
Jungwon was overjoyed and hugged Y/n tightly. "This is the best birthday gift ever. I can't wait to meet our little one," he said, tears welling up in his eyes.
The rest of the night was spent celebrating, with Jungwon beaming with happiness. Y/n couldn't stop smiling as she watched her love surrounded by his closest friends, and she knew that they were in for an incredible journey together as they will start a family.
