Hermione's POV:
"Gryffindor!" Cheered the sorting hat for the first year, "and last but not least..." Said Professor McGonagall I yawned in the middle of what she was saying and missed the name of the last child, "Slytherin!" Cheered the sorting hat once again, yes! Another excuse to look over to the Slytherin table, I glance up and down at the Slytherin table, oh there he is, I never noticed how handsome Draco was.. oh dear, did I really just say that?

She felt a pang of jealously hit her when she saw him kissing Pansy Parkinson, the most arrogant cow in all of Hogwarts...

Draco's POV:
She's looking again, I kinda like it, did I just say that? I quickly look over to the Gryffindor table and admire her, wait! She's a Mudblood and my enemy, I can't be doing this! And plus I love Pansy, I think...
"Hey babe!" Said Pansy and kissed me before I got the chance to say anything, after the kiss I shuffle away from her slightly and sat with my hand over my mouth to avoid her kissing me again.

"Okay it's time to announce the new Hogwarts prefects!"
Announced Professor McGonagall, "the new Prefect for Gryffindor is... Hermione Granger!" I widened my eyes hearing her name, Hermione that's a pretty name...

Hermione's POV:
Did she really just say my name? I thought then McGonagall gestured me to come down, how embarrassing!
I was awarded a medal with the word 'Prefect' engraved on it.. "Thank you" I mouthed to McGonagall she just smiled back...

Draco's POV:
"And last of all the prefect for Slytherin!" Announced McGonagall I rolled my eyes "Draco Malfoy" she called, what? I look around and half the students were laughing and the other were booing and making fun, I clenched my fists, even Pansy was laughing and poking my arm, I get up and walk out of the great hall followed by McGonagall and Hermione, I mean Granger, I punch the walls making my knuckles bleed, I was forced to be a death eater I didn't want to, I didn't want this! "Mr Malfoy!" Called McGonagall, "what?" I answer "what's wrong?" Asked Her- Granger "you have been chosen Draco you should be happy" said McGonagall "why are they all laughing at me then?" I shout McGonagall sighed and placed her hand on my shoulder "Hermione take him to the prefect dormitory" whispered McGonagall "yes miss" she replied...

We got to the prefect dorm and Hermione noticed my bleeding hands, "what have you done?" Whispered as she held them, "nothing" I grunted "well it doesn't seem like nothing" she said, she got up searching the room for something "what are you looking for Granger?" I ask "bandages Malfoy" she replied making no eye contact "aha" she shouted penetrating the air with a first aid kit...

Hermione's POV:
"Okay this may sting a bit" I said with my teeth together, "whatever" he replied I sighed and said "stop being so blunt Draco, I can see that your hurting" his eyes widened "woah Granger we are not on first name basis" he said "whatever" I replied mocking Draco a little make him smile...

"All done" I whispered as I tied the last bandage, "thank you" he whispered I smiled at him and said "this is your room, and mine is next door, so you do get a little privacy, but we share a bathroom, sorry" I whined "it's fine" he whispered I didn't care what he said "goodnight Draco" I whispered "goodnight Hermione" I heard him whisper back, just before I opened my bedroom door we smiled at each other....
