Rex Lapis sat quietly in an open terrain. They decided a sneak attack would work best with the demon. The dragon meditated peacefully. Childe sighed from the bush. Xiao looked at him, "What?"
Childe shook his head, "Rex is so peaceful, eh?"
Xiao looked back at the meditating dragon human mix.
"Sorta.."
Xiao sighed, "You miss Zhongli don't you?"
Childe lowered his head, "I hope this plan works, I really need to talk to him."
Xiao leaned back. He really didn't know what happened between them. Not like he wanted to discover what it was. He was more focused with Mor-
Suddenly M̴̢̭̺͇̋͂̀͐̀ọ̶͕̄͊ͅr̸̭̩͙̯̈a̷̺͂͛̐x̴̬̹̳͕̊̈́͘ appeared. Xiao could tell Childe saw him too as the ginger took a short breath in. M̴̢̭̺͇̋͂̀͐̀ọ̶͕̄͊ͅr̸̭̩͙̯̈a̷̺͂͛̐x̴̬̹̳͕̊̈́͘ began skipping around Rex.
"Here already?" Rex asked opening his eyes.
"Of course," It began, "Zhongli is boring to just watch."
Rex Lapis signed as he stood, "Your ready to get back into your body eh?"
M̴̢̭̺͇̋͂̀͐̀ọ̶͕̄͊ͅr̸̭̩͙̯̈a̷̺͂͛̐x̴̬̹̳͕̊̈́͘ swayed, smiling, "It's been so many years.. for once I'll have control again."
Xiao's head began spinning. This information was smacking him in the face. Clearly Morax and Rex were the same person.. but with different mindsets. Childe rested his hand on Xiao's shoulder. Xiao glared at him but was met with a kind fake smile. Childe was obviously trying to reassure him. Xiao shrugged the man's hand off. He looked back but Morax was gone and a haze appeared. Xiao stood, tightening his grip on his spear. Childe stood as well, quickly realizing. As the fog cleared the vessel stood. Zhongli, Morax, and Rex Lapis. Now the body had Morax in control, it was clear due to his clothing. He had a white cloak that showed his black to gold-orange hands. Morax began laughing, now having control. He quickly spotted the two. His eyes glowed bright. He grinned quickly appearing in front of them. Morax spun his spear around as the two back off.
"So," Morax hissed, "You wanted to sneak around get away with it ay?"
Childe and Morax exchanged glares. Morax laughed slightly, "So you're Childe hm? I can tell"
"Really?"
"Of course! Even if I don't share Zhongli's eyes, Doesn't mean anything about his thoughts. He is like a slave to you," Morax rose a finger smiling.
Xiao began moving around Morax, trying to strike him from behind. Morax sighed, "Pathetic, your plan wasted."
Morax moved, too fast, too swiftly, Xiao was thrown into a tree. Childe quickly activated his delusion and attacked, he swung his sword as fast as he could. Morax grinned at him and dodged. Morax couldn't defend himself though, Childe had the Adepti Sigil. No pain could be conflicted on him, Childe easily took this to his advantage, swiping and moving around Morax. To the God this was mere child play. He had been the God of War, God of Geo, the oldest and even could have been the strongest of the Archons. Childe backed off, mainly to catch his breath. Morax laughed aloud, a sharp demonic laughter escaped his body. Childe glared at him. "That's all you've got hm? Well, I guess it's my turn then."
Morax, with fearful speed, collected Xiao's unconscious body. Childe took a short breath in, he already knew what was going on.
"Now, we can strike a contract then?"
Childe tilted his head back, "Hmm, what does it consist of?"
Morax shot him a look, he didn't actually expect Childe to even listen.
"Well, I give you him," He dropped Xiao onto the ground, "and I do what I want!"
Childe nodded, "Seems like a good deal," Childe looked him dead in the eyes, "But so much for your brains."
Suddenly a bolt of electro element struck Morax. He fell immediately. Childe quickly picked Xiao up and backed away.
"Holy shit! Where did you learn that?" Childe called out to the attacker.
"Inazuma!" Aether twisted his head to Childe. Morax quickly stood up. He laughed, "Great two of you mortals now."
"Correction, I am an outlander," Aether wagged a finger at him."
"Well, whatever you are, you don't have something vital hm?"
Morax swiftly came up to take the traveler out. I watched in horror as, with great speed, Morax flung the traveler away. He had done the same with Xiao. But the traveler was still up and moving. He had hopped up quickly, only for Morax to come back and attack. Childe couldn't help but watch, there was no way he could plant an attack between them. He stood there helplessly as they battered each other. It was obvious Aether was losing. He wasn't in the right psychical state, as he had fought another god before coming. Childe knew had to do something quick as possible. He sighed, the only way to give Aether relief. He pulled out the sigil, he'd try his best. Childe looked up, "Traveler!" He called out quickly. He moved swiftly and pushed the sigil into Aether's hands. Childe shoved the blond boy out the way and blocked an attack that was for the Traveler.

Morax was shocked. You could have even said awestruck. He never expected a Fatui to help somebody who was against the organization. He hopped back. A smile smeared across his face.
"Your eyes burn cold while your heart bears the need to help hm?"
The monster checked his nails, which were long enough for him to mistaken a woman. (I had to-)
"I guess this is even better."
Childe knew what he meant though he had to ask, "How is this better?"
Morax looked up laughing, "I get to destroy the only thing that makes Zhongli happy!"
"Yeah as if," Childe rolled his eyes. He was not going to let the creature under his skin.
The creature shook his head, "Too bad you don't believe it. He practically died for you."
Childe's grip tightened on his bow.

This. Bitch.
