Chapter Six

Steve looked at Jessi, then noticed the shield in the corner. "Wait... Sammy has Cap's shield?"

Bucky nodded. "Steve retired. He offered the shield to Sam."

Steve grinned. "Let's have some fun."

~With Danny and Sam~

Sam walked with Danny sighing. "I have everything for Matzo soup at the house, Danny. Jessi has the pantries stockpiled."

"When did you and Jessi move in together?" Danny asked with confusion.

Sam groaned. "Shit. She told me she told your mom."

Danny raised a brow while frowning.

"Danny, come on, not the face."

Danny shrugged. "Not doing a face. Telling my mother isn't telling me Samuel. You asked my permission to ask her on a date. It's only fair that you ask to move in."

"For your information, Jessi asked me to move in. She said that living with my sister was unneeded if I was always with her."

"Fine." Danny replied, rolling his eyes. He then looked at Sam with a serious look. "Now, how are you feeling after the news?"

Sam sighed. "Sad, relieved she wasn't alone, scared of how she could have been alone, angry it happened. I'm feeling a lot, Danny."

"When the day comes Sam, you are gonna be a great father, though you gotta marry my sister first."

"You've told me. Now let's go before they realize I left Cap's shield."

Danny sighed in exasperation. "My idiot is gonna be throwing that thing like a frisbee."

~With Jessi~

Jessi laughed. "You break something I'm telling Danno on you."

"That was so fun. Bucky, let me throw it again." Steve said, taking it.

Bucky bit his lip. "This was a bad idea, wasn't it?"

Jessi laughed. "Yep. Stevie is a giant man child wrapped up in a Navy Seal body."

"You love me." Steve stated.

Jessi rolled her eyes, giggling. "Only because you're dating Danno."

Danny walked up with Sam. "I told you, Sammy, my idiot is throwing it like a frisbee."

"You big man, child." Danny muttered before turning to Bucky. "Anyways, hi Bucky Barnes, I'm Danny Williams. I'm Jessi's big brother."

"Nice to meet you. So what do you all do?"

"Danny and Steve head up a task force  unit in Hawaii. Babygirl runs a little cafe/bookstore in town. She also helps my sister with catering."

"That is not all my little sister I'd. She's ex NCIS and ex SWAT. She was stationed out in California. Her nickname in SWAT was Falcon." Danny stated, smiling.

"Thanks for that rundown of my past career, Danny."

"Why Falcon?" Bucky asked curiously.

Steve grinned. "Jessi was the best at sniping from a copter."
