It was more crucial than everything else to stop the bleeding as soon as possible the first time it occured. The old guy didn’t understand any medical jargon, but he knew what life was, and as he was placed on the stretcher, he looked up at the people surrounding him and asked, “Who saved me?”

No matter what happened, common people will never forget who saved them.

Dr. Zhang lowered his head at this time and took advantage of Ren Chongda’s attention to leave first.

“Uncle, go to the hospital first.” After comforting the uncle, the emergency doctor walked over to the uncle who was unconscious and asked Cao Yong,

“Traumatic brain injury, will you operate on him?”

“Today I am not on duty in Neurosurgery.” Cao Yong replied.

It was unlikely for  Handsome Cao to work during colleagues’ shifts. The injured individual was transported by the emergency department.

Cao Yong took the mineral water brought by the man, opened the bottle cap, and rinsed Xie Wanying’s bloody hands, so as not to scare passers-by all the way.

As a surgeon, Handsome Cao’s fingers were precise and compassionate; he was currently pouring water on someone’s hand with the same care. In the hazy night, Handsome Cao’s face shone so brightly.

Zhang Xiaohui and the two girls watched their hearts beat.

“Thank you teacher.” Xie Wanying sincerely thanked him.

Throwing aside the empty water bottle, Cao Yong handed her a handkerchief from his pants pocket and urged her, ” “Wipe your face.”
Did her face also have blood on it?

Xie Wanying took his handkerchief and wiped it on her face.

“Also, it’s  Senior Brother.” Cao Yong said to her.

Zhang Xiaohui and the two girls’ hearts twitched: Just now, the three of them worked hard to get the attention of their senior brother, but he ignored them –
“It’s boring!”  A woman stamped her feet and rebuked. Zhang Xiaohui’s face was gloomy, and she turned her head to walk away.

Seeing this, the other two girls followed behind her, looking back from time to time, trying to engrave Xie Wanying’s face firmly in their minds.

Addressing him as a teacher or senior brother, wasn’t it the same?

Xie Wanying didn’t think much about this issue, but she did remember that she had to wash and return the handkerchief that her brother had given her to wipe her face with.

After gathering some of her previous physical strength, Xie Wanying stood up, grabbed her backpack, and followed the three teachers to the restaurant first.  She used someone else’s sink to wash her hands and face, and she used someone else’s soap to clean Cao Yong’s handkerchief.

Cao Yong and the other three sat down at the table again.

Because the dishes and rice were already cold, they asked the waiter to take it and reheat it. “Send her back to the girls’ dormitory later,” Ren Chongda said as he swept away to his class monitor standing beside him.

“Yes, teacher Ren.” When he answered, Yue Wentong’s voice was a little weak. He didn’t know what he could say next, after all, his performance tonight was obvious to all, and it was a shame for the counselor.

Hearing his class monitor’s mood, Ren Chongda said, “The road to medicine is long.”

Getting a perfect score on the first try did not guarantee success in medical school. The path to becoming a doctor was long and arduous; each day brought a new exam; there was no end; and no one was better than anyone else.

“Be a doctor. You are a winner as long as you are able to save every single patient. ” Zhu Huicang continued the words of his old classmate.

Because at this very moment, the only thing on Yue Wentong’s mind was whether or not he was going to come out on top over Xie Wanying, hearing the implication of the two teachers made him feel even more uncomfortable.

Being a doctor was more important than anything else.

“Senior brother.”

After washing the handkerchief, Xie Wanying came out and handed the wringed veil back to him, “I washed it clean, but I couldn’t dry it in time for my senior brother.

If not, I’ll take it back to the balcony of my dorm room and let it cool down there.”

“Okay, take it to dry.” Cao Yong said. Xie Wanying was taken by surprise: Oh, wasn’t the Handsome Cao rushing to return his handkerchief?
