Sakura was at the nearest pharmacy buying medicine for Ryuu's mother. On her way back to Ryuu's apartment, she saw a puppy on the street that looked sad and sick. At that moment, Sakura didn't know what to do, as she needed to deliver the medicines, but wanted to help the puppy.
Finally, she decided to take it with her and ran as fast as she could to get there soon. When she arrived at the apartment, she found the door open and left the puppy in a safe place. Then, he quickly handed the medicines to Ryuu, who was attending to his mother.
After a while, Ryuu's mother calmed down and fell asleep. Ryuu decided to let her rest and left the room to thank Sakura for her help. Sakura replied that there was no problem, as she had wanted to help from her heart.
At that moment, Ryuu heard a bark and went to investigate. He discovered the puppy near the door, scared and alone.
-What about that puppy, Sakura? -asked Ryuu.
-I found it on my way, I picked it up because it looked very scared and I got worried," said Sakura.
Ryuu tried to approach the puppy, but it reacted by moving away and started to tremble.
-Do you think they did something to it, Ryuu? -Sakura asked when she saw the puppy's reaction.
-Maybe, from his reaction it seems that he is afraid of people -said Ryuu.
He approached again, took the puppy by the head and started petting it to calm it down. After a few seconds of petting, the puppy began to have more confidence in Ryuu, to the point that he could already carry him, even though he was still shaking.
Sakura approached and also petted the puppy, which started to wag its tail. Sakura found his reaction tender, as did Ryuu. After a while of soothing the puppy, they began to discuss what to do with it.
-I can't keep him, my family would never allow me to have a pet," said Sakura.
-In my current situation, I can't keep him either. I have a big responsibility right now and I don't want the puppy to suffer more than it has already suffered," said Ryuu.
The cub approached Ryuu and began to play with him. At that moment, an idea occurred to Sakura.
-I know what to do," said Sakura.
-Go ahead, tell me," said Ryuu.
-Could you take care of him while I help you monetarily with the puppy's expenses? -asked Sakura.
Ryuu was surprised by Sakura's question.
-Won't you get into trouble? I'm saying this because of your work and the possibility of the press seeing you around... I don't want to damage your image," said Ryuu.
Sakura turned her gaze to Ryuu with a pout, and asked him what was going on. Not remembering what she had told him during the afternoon, Ryuu took a moment to think, but failed to come up with the answer. Sakura, a bit angrily, called him a fool and reminded him that she had promised to support him no matter what. Ryuu apologized and explained that at that moment his head was full of thoughts, and he was worried because he was afraid that they might do something to her, now that he knew her commitment of unconditional support.
At that moment Sakura's cell phone rings and she receives a message from her parents because she did not arrive home.
-Sorry, I have to go Ryuu. -said Sakura.
-Don't worry, I really thank you for what you did today for my mother. -said Ryuu.
-We'll see about the puppy some other time. -said Sakura.
-Yes, meanwhile I will look for where to put it so it will be comfortable. -said Ryuu.
Ryuu accompanies Sakura to the door and they say goodbye, Sakura goes towards her house, while Ryuu stays taking care of his mother and now his new puppy friend.
Ryuu finds a box where he could be temporarily, after giving him water and food he stays thinking about how to name the puppy, but he thinks that the best thing will be to wait to speak it with Sakura since he wants that she also gives her opinion about his name.
A while passes and Sakura arrives at her house, who waits for her father angry because she arrived late to the house. Sakura explains the reason why she arrived late (without telling him what Ryuu is going through), when listening to her story, her father tells her the following:
-Daughter, you do not have because to join with people of that class. - Sakura's father said.
-Father, he is my classmate, I could not only ignore him and already. -Sakura explained.
-We don't know how that boy really is, besides you have a career ahead of you and you can't waste your time with these distractions, remember that tomorrow you have a photo session. -said her father.
-He is going through a very complicated situation, besides with the short time that I have known him, I realize the person that he is, and without a doubt he is a person that I value and respect a lot," exclaimed Sakura.
Her father did not know what to say and withdrew from the conversation with a heavy mood. Sakura goes to her room to do her homework, but decides to lie down a little in her bed, while she analyzes everything that happened during this day.
Meanwhile, Ryuu meets his mother, who woke up after what happened, Ryuu is glad that she is in better condition. He prepared instant soup for her to have something in her stomach, his mother eats slowly, but Ryuu is thankful that his mother can eat.
After taking care of her, it became night, while his mother rests, Ryuu takes a bath, in the process of bathing he keeps thinking about what has happened in the day, how Sakura has been important for him in those moments.
Of so much thinking the situation he blushes a little and thinks that he is becoming red for thinking those things.
At the end of the day, Sakura and Ryuu ask themselves "what will he be doing?", a question that both are left thinking.
Sakura at that moment thinks:
-I didn't ask him if he's going tomorrow! -thought Sakura.
