(Tokiyasu POV)

"Okay, I'm gonna keep this simple. I need you to use your kaleidoscope on me." I soon pointed at the crack."With the use of my authority although inferior you can seal those cracks."

"I will but I need to understand the principles behind it first."

Oh yeah, that one I didn't think of that since I am not just any normal spirit.

"I'll take care of that." I then put my finger again on her forehead and send another round of energy. "What just sent you is 10 years' worth of information. I gave you this so that you can be quite adept at controlling time and unlike Kurumi's way of using time yours won't need someone else's time to duel it."

"Really, then where does this energy come from?"

"It comes from me."

"What!"

"So basically I refine the energy from my dimension and use it as a fuel of sorts. The only downside is that this energy cannot be found on Earth so I have to return to my dimension to store up more."

"What about Kurumi then she doesn't necessarily need to go to another dimension to restore her Time."

"Well, I guess she just doesn't know. It's convenient though but the cost is quite unforgiving."

"Speaking of Kurumi why don't you ask her instead?"

"Do you think she couldn't have helped us from the start if she wanted to? She might have had an agenda herself. Anyway, let's stop wasting time and get to work." As I said that the broom in Natsumi's hand turned into a small pocket watch.

As we were about to head into the crack I saw Shido going outside with an attire that seems like he was going somewhere. It looks like the date is about to begin. I then saw something familiar hanging around his chest. It's the watch I gave him to protect him from the cracks in time.

"Well, it looks like he is good for something at least." I then looked towards Natsumi who's also starting at Shido.

"Relax Junior he will be fine."

"I-i know that!"

"Sure-sure."

He will be fine. For now, I need to do my job while he does his.

(Shido POV)

Except for a few moments where Origami was being weird the date was actually going smoothly. We should be able to save Origami within this day if all things go well.

Now we are standing here while watching the sunset. All was well when suddenly the fence broke and Origami almost fell. Now we are in quite a weird position where Origami is pinning me down on the ground.

We stare at each other for a long time. When I suddenly noticed her eyes turned dark. I then followed her line of sight and saw her looking at my injury regenerating.

I then felt that things won't end up well. I also hear Kotori warning me to run away but it was too late as I was pushed away along with her transformation.

I then thought that this could only be my chance to seal her while her astral dress is still incomplete. So I pushed on. If I run away now the whole city will be demolished.

I then hear Kotori warning me to back away.

"Yggdrafolium?!"

Apparently, the ratatoskr is planning to destroy the barrier for three seconds. They tried to but they were shot down by Origami.

I tried to warn them to run away but it was too late. I then saw the guns pointed at me. But then suddenly a halberd cut them before they could fire at me.

It was Kotori she has transformed into her astral dress. It looks like she transformed before the ship was shot down.

"Shido are you okay?"

I nodded at her. I hope everything will be resolved without any casualties. I then stood up and looked at Kotori and asked.

"So what's the plan?"

"I will try and break through so that you can get close to her. You should stay back and wait for the right time since you will be injured if you get caught in the crossfire."

I was frustrated that I couldn't do anything but wait. But Kotori is right. I should stay focused and wait. Soon Kotori launched over to Origami hoping to close their distance.

But Origami's canons proved to be quite a nuisance as they kept on firing toward Kotori who weaved around to dodge them some hit her but she just ignored it as it regenerated at an unbelievable speed.

Is it just my imagination or is Kotori smiling? That couldn't be she was about to go berserk. If that is the case it would be even more dangerous. I then shouted in her direction.

"Kotori! It's dangerous your about to go berserk!"

I shouted as hard as I can but it seemed like she couldn't hear me. Then I heard something I would not like to deal with right now.

"Ara ara, now what seems to be going on here." I then saw a silhouette coming out of a shadow.

"Hello, Shido" It's Kurumi.
