How long has it been? Days, maybe a week at most, maybe even two.

You find yourself rather lost since what happened that night is the only thing replaying in your head, over and over like a broken record.

It's weird how the feeling of guilt ends up being the most prominent part of remembering the scene.

And it definitely didn't help that Sanzu would refuse to acknowledge your very existence unless he had to work with you.

The realisation that your life is rather monotonous without constantly bickering with him put something into perspective.

What that something is though, you're quite unsure yourself.

You only caught glimpses of him when you passed each other in the hallway during ridiculous hours of the morning, where he'd look completely drunk and out of it for the most part.

Most of the time, when he wasn't forced to work with you, was spent at the club, with Rindou out of all people- weirdly enough.

It's all a mystery to you.

But if he can't manage to even greet you while walking past, and if he's acting like a complete stranger - who are you to demand any explanations?

It'll pass, you're sure of it - it was just a confusing time he'd rather avoid, and the feeling was mutual.

However, It's been peaceful.
Too peaceful.

And just like that, another night passes with you laying in bed mindlessly scrolling on your phone.

Kioko's been accompanying you but doing the same - not much was shared besides a brief ' good night ' before she left your room and went to bed.

You were both tired after all, even if all you did was gossip and lay in bed all day.

Sanzu's POV:

A shiver rises in his body from the cold air outside, and the faint sound of music could be heard from the cracked back door of the club's VIP section.

Sanzu finishes his cigarette, puffing a few more times before getting interrupted by Rindou's head peeking through the crack of the door, the dim neon light escaping from the room.

" There's a line left, Ran said you can have it " Rindou cracks a small smile, and the other flicks his cigarette filter out into the dark alleyway and heads inside.

" Sanzu " Ran waves him over, and he hazily makes his way towards him - his head still hurting from all the previous nights spent here.

Ran points towards the empty bar as Sanzu takes a seat next to him on the couch, at a woman that looks like you from behind.

Same hair colour, same way of sitting.

And for a moment Sanzu widens his eyes, stopping himself from rolling up the paper bill in his hand.

Then the woman turns around to glance at him, and it's not you.

He blinks a few times, shaking his head wondering why he felt fear mixed with excitement for a moment before continuing what he was doing.

His head tilts forward briefly to hover over the table before tilting back with parted lips as he sniffs a few times, his body feeling lighter already.

" That girl there wants to speak with you. " Ran's voice gets muffled over the music, and with Sanzu's heart rate picking up, he stands up in an instant.
