Chapter 6

"Seriously?" Yukti said as she uses her hand to cover her face from the scortching heat of the sun. The salty sea air filled the place and both of their feet submerged to the white sand of the beach."I have plans and we need to get to it!" Gulki grinned as she drags Yukti to a less crowded place.

"Okay, I have everything on schedule,"  she said as she rumages through her bag and shows Yukti a checklist that was beautifully hand written by Gulki.

1. Surfing.
2. Banana boat.
3. island hopping.
4. scuba diving.
5. Sand castle making.
6. Seaside Beach spa.

Yukti laughs upon reading the two last things on the list. Gulki saw her reaction and frowns at her husband. "What are you laughing at?"

"Sand castle making and spa? Really?"
She snorts and Gulki huffs as she pouts in disagreement. "What's so funny about that? We used to do this, you know," she defended as she turned her back to Yukti and walked towards a shade.

Yukti didn't continue to tease her as she followed her spouse behind her. They settled things down and places a mat on the sand. "Where are the surf boards though?" Yukti asks as she takes off her shirt. Gulki's cheeks brighten a little and cursed under her breath. She already saw Yukti's body a lot but she just can't help herself but flush. Her husband is just too attractive in sports bra with a six pack abs.

"I've already rented," she stated as she  looks away and pretended to search through her bag. "Why are you getting embarrassed?" Yukti asked teasingly and Gulki frowns at her with a flushed face. "W-Who doesn't!?" She said as she stomps her feet at the sand and looks away. Yukti just chuckles end never felt so light before.

The two of them eventually went surfing and tried the banana boat with other people who join at the raft. Gulki still keept T-shirt on since she was too shy to show off her body. While Yukti was being flocked by women when they went back to the shore. Gulki felt pride swells inside of her and wanted to say to all of the women trying to flirt with Yukti, "Huh! This woman in mine. My husband."

She shakes off the thought and dries her hair with a towel. Gulki shouldn't forget that this will be the 2nd to the last day she'll ever be the husband of this very woman. Her heart clenches at the thought and she couldn't help but sigh.

"Do we have to change for the island hopping?" Gulki jumps for a bit since she didn't notice the presence of her husband behind her. "No need, we'll go scuba diving anyways," she said as she hands her a towel. Yukti stares at the sky blue towel that was being offered in front of her for a good second and then said, " Dry my hair?"

Gulki felt her heart thumps a bit more faster. She remembered how she used to do this Yukti everytime they spend the early mornings together. It was still the time when they were staying at an apartment. Aiya, Yukku's so good at playing pretend. She thought and replied to her husband a smile. " Of course."

Gulki sits on the mat that has been spread through the sand and gently pats the space beside her. "You're like a kid," she stated with a chuckle and Yukti moved to her side and said, "The kid that you fell in love with! Haha!"

Gulki was surprised to hear such words,  she tightly grips the towel for a second and then released it soon afterwards. She lets out a dry chuckle and God, what she said was so damn true and she still loves her. "Aish,  alright turn around," Gulki said as she places the towel on top of Yukti's head and slowly started rubbing the towel to her scruffy hair.

Lunch time eventually came and the married couple ate at the boat as they went island hopping. Transfering from an island to another. The funny thing was Yukti shouted when there was a very huge wave while they were sailing and Gulki couldn't stop laughing. "You could've seen the look on your face!" She said between laughs as she points Yukti's face. The said woman frowns and felt embarrassed,  she rolls her eyes with a huff and sat beside Gulki on the boat as the woman who operates the boat was busy fixing some things. They were in a group which others will also try scuba diving. Yukti and Gulki didn't even socialized with others since they were too busy in thier own world.
