There was a couple knocks on the door, hurried and insistent.

My father, a man with black hair and hazel eyes, got up from his seat, and went over to answer it.

Just as he opened the door, one of the two men on the other side of the door charged his way through, grabbing my father by the neck and lifting him off of the ground.

"No one betrays Atsushi. You should have known this, Isamu." The other spoke, before my father was thrown to the floor.

A woman with brown hair and blue eyes, my mother, stood from a distance, shielding me behind her. The man walked up to her, his large fingers cupping her chin. "Such a pretty face...a shame, really, that I'll have to kill you."

My mother started to back up, nudging me slightly to signal I was supposed to run.

I didn't want to, but if...if she wanted me to, I would. I ran out of the house through the back door, hearing the men's shouts behind me. I didn't stop running, didn't look back, didn't care when my lungs started to burn. I needed to get away.

I hid behind a tree, holding my breath in as I heard leaves crunch underneath their feet. "We've lost the little bitch." One commented, and soon, I heard their footsteps fade away.

I wasn't sure how long I waited, but eventually, I stood up, and walked the way back to my home.

There was my mother and father, lying on the floor in pools of their own blood.

The tears came instantly, burning my eyes as I practically collaspsed to the floor.

"I'm so sorry. I should have stayed...maybe...maybe I could have...done something...to save you."

I could barely speak between gasps, my chest tightened painfully.

I let out a huge cry, the sobs racking my body.

I woke with a start, in the process getting out of Kakashi's arms. I could feel the tears building up in my eyes and I bit my lip hard to keep from sobbing. it had been a long time since I had a nightmare about my parents and now that it happened again, every emotion came back from that day.

Kakashi had woken up when I had, and his eyes were wide. He was about to ask what was the matter and seeing my expression, he knew what it was and wrapped his arms around me. Once he did that, my arms encircled his waist and I buried my head in his shoulder as I couldn't keep myself together and I started sobbing.

One of his hands came up, gently running through my hair to try to calm me down.

He pulled away after my weeping quieted down, and the surprise was evident on his face.

"What?" I questioned weakly, wondering what he was so astonished about.

He didn't say anything, only stood up and took me with him into the bathroom and had me look at my reflection in the mirror.

The same thing that had happened before. My eyes were a bright blue, with lightning passing through them.

Although I was getting sort of used to the occurence, it still was a bit shocking. I turned, looking up at him and I said, "We need to find out what..." I pointed to my eyes, "...this is."

He nodded. I think he knew now there was no way he could keep it a secret from me.

I returned to the bedroom, him following behind me and as I sat down on the bed, my vision started to change into the various shades of blue like before. I could see he was going to sit next to me before he actually did.

"It's...almost like the Sharingan." I started to describe it. "I can see what's going to happen before it does...but it's different somehow."

We both didn't say more, maybe just thinking before I stood up and decided, "I-....we need to go to my parent's home. There might be something there that explains this."
