Chapter X

Tommy's POV

I woke up, breathing heavily, as I was trying to convince myself the nightmare I had was not real. I did the 478 method, which worked for me, and tried going back to sleep. However, I was still too shaken up to fall asleep, so I dealt with the boredom by looking and reading the books that I took from my shelf.

After a while, Wilbur knocked on my door to tell me to come eat breakfast. I changed, and went downstairs where I was met with Techno and Wilbur already sitting next to each other and Phil coming out of the kitchen with the food. "Morning, Tommy! Perfect timing you came downstairs, the food is hot and ready", Phil shot a quick smile and sat down.

I had the honour to sit next to Wilbur, which, when I did, he started to make himself his own toast sandwich. I took some already cutted sandwiches and made sure Techno saw me eat them, I didn't want him to fuss about it later.

The family chatted a bit, including myself this once when Phil got up. "Alright, everyone, I'll be off to do my job, please do not burn the house and this goes to everyone, Wilbur, and order yourself some lunch that all of you like. Love you all, bye!" he quickly scrambled as he put on his scarf and went out the door, shutting it after him.

The awkward silence was really loud, however Wilbur was the one to break it. "Uhh, park?" "Yup, in 10" Techno answered and went upstairs. Wilbur turned to me. "We'll be going to the park, are you up to it?", "Yeah, sure" I answered as I don't have anything better to do today.

I would usually do chores and shit but I managed to keep my room tidy and this house does not seem to have any more cleaning chores to do.

3rd POV

   Wilbur then went upstairs as Techno passed him, now in his day clothes. He then made himself what it looked like tea and poured it into a thermos. Willbur came back soon after in his normal day clothes as well and put the thermos into his tote bag as well as some snacks. Without saying a word they all put on their jackets and shoes and Techno led the way to the park.

The walk to the park was not as awkward as expected. Wilbur seemed to start a conversation about anteaters, which also led to a discussion about all the horrible animals in the world. The only animal they all seem to agree that was horrible was the dolphins.

The common dolphins specifically since Techno and Tommy talked about how cool orcas are as Wilbur looked horrified about some facts they knew about the only acceptable dolphin.

They soon reached the park. Their conversations carried them through the woods, people, who some seemed to give them strange looks, right up a hill with a beautiful view above.

"This looks amazing! How did you even find this spot?" Tommy yelled as he ran right next to the edge admiring the landscape. While Wilbur was setting up the picnic spot, Techno stood next to Tommy, looking at the small people that looked like ants. "Wilbur used to be one hell of a runner. He used to find really cool spots to hang out in until police would drag him back. With time he would look for more and more difficult spots for anyone to reach him".

Techno seemed floating in thoughts until Tommy pulled him out. "Did the police find this one?" "Nope, Wilbur went down with the promise of some new strings or something" Techno rolled his eyes.

"Pfft- The police really took a L and a skillissue on this one" Tommy laughed earning a chuckle from Techno. "What are you both laughing about?" Wilbur came over with a smile to his face. He was really glad his new brother was fitting in well, this is all he has ever wished for, a happy family. "Tommy was just making fun of the policemen for not catching you" "Hell yeah! The policemen were really bitched back in my day" "You sound so old by saying that Wilbur" Tommy laughed at Wilbur.

"Ay! Why make fun of me now? I found this place, you absolute gremlin!" Wilbur scooped Tommy, tickling him. "Wilbaaa! Let me go! Technoooooo" Tommy screamed as he was shutted by his laughs. "Nope, I don't want to be involved" Techno raised his hands in defence.

Wilbur looked at Tommy. Tommy looked at Wilbur. "Wha- guys, why are you looking at each other like that?" Techno nervously chuckled. They both slowly looked at Techno. "Guys, hear me out- HEAR ME OUT-!" Techno began to run as Wilbur and Tommy began to chase him, yelling how they were going to catch him.

They all were running around the woods, laughing and yelling, happiness floating in the air since it couldn't fit into all of the sibling hearts.
Soon they were all tired out, well, except Techno with all his muscles and all, and they all went back to their picnic place. They all happily ate their packed snacks, Tommy was still a little uncomfortable about eating, but with Technos help to somehow get a conversation going, he ate a good amount.

After the food, they all sat on the hill edge, Tommy resting his head on Wilburs shoulder and fidgeting with Technos hand on his lap. The evening was calm, birds being not so loud, wind only rustling leaves once in a while and no ducks swimming in the river below the hill.

Tommy fell asleep soon, being carried home by Techno since Wilbur carried the basket with their stuff. "I.. really enjoyed this day, Wil" Tecno said with a breath. Wilbur smiled. "Me too, Techno, me too." A smile appeared on

Technos face, not fading even as they reached home. Phil saw the sleeping Tommy so he only led his sons with a soft smile.

On days like this, everyone feels like no bad things ever have ever happened to them before and there are no horrible feelings that would ever steal their happy ones in this moment. Everything seemed to be okay.

It made everyone believe the fact that everyone will be okay.

Heloou, guysss, uhh- do you miss me hahahaa...uhh- hear me out! Hear me out- in these past 8 months my house was taken by some sort of alien people that had purple skin. And its was super weird! Thats the only thing I remember and it is just because i had to go though a 4 month hypnotherapy. Also a few weeks ago my grandmother was accidentally hit by a tree branch during a storm soo...lots of funeral planning going on!:D

But im glad i could finally get a chapter going and planning to get this book finished soon. Feel free to text some suggestions on either how to end this book or just some chapters before the actual ending:D
