The fall

The man speaks up,but directly to me "Giyu my boy we have given you a month please tell us who killed your sister and what happened " I look at him straight in the eyes. "I already told you it was a monster" I say softly."Huh what was that?" He asks not having heard me. "I told you it was a monster!" I shouted back at him.

He looks at me with a disgusted look "look boy we have given you enough time tell us what happened to your sister" he says coldly. "IT WAS A MONSTER!" I scream. Everyone in the crowd starts whispering and looking at me with disapproval.

Mary walks up to me and I smile. "Giyu sweetie,you can tell them what really happened don't lie about monsters now" she says. "I told you it is a monster I'm NOT Lying!" I tell her.
She came closer to me. "You godanm brat tell the TRUTH" she threatens me. My eyes go wide and I step back. Everyone is looking at me like I'm crazy even Mary now.

Their stares go through me its searching for my secrets it's analyzing every part of me. "I-i ..no" I stutter. Mary is supposed to be on my side why is she so "cold" she is kind.... not like this?
"Giyu I'm sorry sweetie come here"she holds out her arms for a hug.

"Tomioka Giyu Monsters don't exist if you continue we will have to send you to a very well known doctor...your uncle " the man says. Everyone's eyes narrow onto me "BUT IM NOT CRAZY ITS A MONSTER ITS REAL!!!" I yell at them trying to make them belive me.

"Oi Brad take him to the confinement room" he says to a tall man. "Giyu you brought this on yourself you will travel to the other village to your uncle in 3 days " he says as the tall big man comes up to me. He picks me up and I try to fight. I scream for him to not take me and that it really was a monster. "Mary help!" I yelled to her but all I got back was a glare from her. I continued to scream for her but she glared at me then turned around and left as if she never cared?but...why.

I try to get out of the man's grip by kicking him but he doesn't even react. He pulls me off his shoulder and carry me by the collar. The shirt is pulling back and I can't breathe the collar is tight around my neck as I try to pull it even.*cough -gasps-cough* it's getting tighter and I'm losing air I can't breathe Why did Mary leave me is it all a prank?

He walks up to a gate and opens it while I'm struggling to breathe and break free. He unlocks a door and picks me up from my torso. He throws me in a room and closes the black gate over it. I gasp as I hit a wall and try to get up I grab my throat and grasp for air. Huffing loudly with tears pricking my eyes.

The man stands outside and looks at me but not with pity, with joy and excitement. "I'll come back later..you freak" he says as he leaves. After a while I catch my breath my throat sore. I sit up and look around. The room isn't big its very dark and has this smell of sweat and something else. Its dirty and the floor is cold, it's cement with dirt on it everywhere.

I shuffle to the corner farthest to the entrance of the cell. I grab my shoulders as I shiver from coldness I hunch down into myself trying to get warm. I then rest my head on my shoulders trying to sleep which successfully I manage but that peace doesn't last long. I hear the gate creek open and I jump up.

I lift my head from my shoulder and look at the tall man towering over me. He looks me up and down then says "I got food and water " I look at him then put my hand out to grab it. He looks at me and retracts the bowl of food and glass of water. "Now,now I don't want you messing on yourself after all your uncle is quite well off" he says. "Take your haori off I can't let you look like a mess with food all over yourself when your uncle sees you" he says in a weird tone."But...I'm cold" I say in protest."then you won't get food you freak" he says.

When he said no food I then thought about it I decided to just take my haori off for until I'm done eating. I fold the dull blue haori up and place it on the floor next to me. I then reach my hand out for the food but he still doesn't give it to me. "I am feeding you ,after all it's what that douche bag wants me to do so sit down child!" he orders. I schooch up and sit straight as he lowers himself to sit down aswell.
