I stopped at a hotel and just kept on trekking.
I pulling into my driveway at noon.
Dad decided to move with me, so he left and he got here first.
It's pouring rain when I pull up, and the dirt driveway is completely mud.
Thankfully, I'm wearing my boots.
I'm home. I'm finally home.
I rest my head back against my seat.
Ty's face keeps ringing through my head, the look on his face when I said goodbye to him.
I could tell. I don't even know a thing about him, but I could tell. I shattered him.
I open my eyes and I see Katie running towards me from the house, right through the mud.
I lose it and burst into tears. I need her. I'm fractured and she's my cast.
I don't know what to do.
I shut my truck off and get out.
I shut my truck door.
She knew what happened with Ty. I told her last night.
She hugs me.
I feel her body relax.
"Jesus, you're a mess, you little heartbreaker." she pinches my cheek. I smile sadly, pushing her hand off of me. She locks my truck and pulls me in the house. I kick off my boots.
Dad hugs me.
"I'm glad you made it here safe, kid." he kisses my head. I hug Katie's family.
"Why are you crying?" Steven, Katie's little brother asks.
I'm like his other sister.
I mess up his hair.
"I'd rather not discuss it, kid." I hug him. "I'm going to change."
I jog upstairs and Katie follows me.
I change my clothes and then climb into my bed.
She shuts the door after changing into some of my clothes, and then sits down next to me.
"Talk to me about Tyler. Get a photograph of him."
I sigh and pull out my ancient laptop. Dad brought all of my stuff and Katie must have unpacked me and put everything in it's rightful place. The house literally looks like we didn't even leave.
I sign onto my laptop and go onto Facebook. I haven't been on it since I was twelve.
"Jesus, your profile picture is decades old." she says.
"I know." I grumble. I go into the search and type in Tyler Wesley
He's the first one that comes up.
I click on him and Katie takes a sip of a water bottle, and as I scroll down to the first picture, she starts to choke.
After she coughs up all of the water, she rips the laptop off of my lap.
"What the fuck, Meg!" she screams at me. "Is that him?" she stabs the screen. It's a photo of Ty with a guy. Ty has on a black v-neck and the guy have a blue t-shirt on. Ty's shirt is tight and he looks very attractive.
I sigh. "That's him."
She reads what he posted as the comment for the photo.
It was posted today at 11:42am.
