So I'm sorry I didn't post sooner than now. I thought I did but I guess not.

ANYWAYS I found the PERFECT match for Megan's Mom. The two actresses aren't related and the resemblance is shocking.
Anyways, this is a longer chapter. Enjoy.

I hear a thud at midnight, and it shakes me out of my sleep. Mom and the three of us stayed up talking for a while, and then Mom remebered it's Thursday and that we have school tomorrow, so she made us go to sleep. She's sharing the bed with Katie and I.

I'm cuddled into Mom's side. I shift slightly, looking towards the noise.

It's Ty. He's up, moving around the room, one shoe on, looking for the other one. He threw on jeans and a hoodie.

"Ty." I mumble. He looks at me. "Where are you going?"

"To the hospital." he mutters. He grabs his shoe from under the bed and steps into it.

"Why?" I mumble.

"Jett's Mom called. He's waking up."

I sit up, rubbing my eyes.

"I'll come."

"I want you to get your sleep though." he says.

"I'm okay."

I shake Mom awake.

She cracks an eye open and looks at me through the darkness. She looks confused for half a second, and then she sits up.

"What's wrong?" she whispers.

"I'm going to the hospital with Ty."

"Why?" Katie mumbles.

"Because Jett is waking up." I say.

"We'll all come." Mom says.

I roll out of bed and throw my messy hair up in a disgusting bun. I shove my feet in my boots and pull a hoodie over my tank top. I have no bra on, but I couldn't care less.

When everyone is ready, I grab my wallet, phone, and keys, and head downstairs.

Mom sits in the front seat of my truck.

As I drive, I see her observing me.

When the light turns yellow, I speed up. She sighs.

"You drive like your father." she says as I slow down to the speed limit when a police officer passes.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"You speed up for yellow lights, you speed until you see police officers." she says. "You should be more careful."

"I am careful." I say as I park. We all get out and head into the hospital. I follow Ty, shoving my hands in my jacket.

He leads us upstairs and down the hall.

When we walk in, Jett is awake and looking around, whispering to Trace.

"I'm not telling you, Jett. It's not my story. It's Ty's."

When Ty walks in, Jett looks up.

When he looks at Ty, his eyes move to me, and a face-splitting smile covers his face.

Ty pulls up a chair next to Jett.

"Hey man, about the motorcycle, I'm gonna have to get you a car." Ty says.
