I opened my eyes, and they met with the face of a man...smiling at me. I looked around the prosperous garden for a bit, gathering information about who and why I am what I am.

I sat up and looked at him, he looked at me.

"Adam." He addressed me in a quiet hush, soothing like gentle music to my ears. "Made in our image."

Some other creatures from all round the garden gathered around as I stood up. A beast sprang up to my feet and its paws grabbed my ankle. It began to lick my toes and I laughed.

"Our image..." My God said again, never taking his eyes off my anatomy. He seemed to love me very much.

"I'm Adam." I reciprocated the blissful energy.

The land was beautiful and green. The sky was saturated blue. The trees were abundant, each one produced a different fruit, ripe and fresh. The bushes had an endless harvest. And so many different creatures lurked the surface. Every direction I turned, I saw something great and then I looked at the man - My creator? Such art! No mistake is capable of creating such beauty that compliment each other.

Another beast crept up to me from behind and pushed me to the floor where i landed ever so softly on the grass. It had a lot of orange fur round it's head and it seemed more intimidating than the little toelicker, but I felt safe because my creator was watching from a stone throw away.

"Hi!" I greeted it. Unlike my Dad who would always reply, it didn't. I decided to sit on it's back and it took me round the garden, so much to explore, so much to taste and feel.

"Adam!" I heard the voice of my creator call for me. I took heed and immediately dismounted the beast.

"Yes, Dad." I stood before him.

"Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Father told me ever so happily, "Every herb that yields seed, and every tree I have given to you as food, Adam. Even the creatures of the earth will be food for you."

I looked around, couldn't help but keep my mouth open wide, pupils dilated as such glory and liberty. A tall tree sat beside me, its brances and leaves were plenty and it had much fruits. I plucked one, just as the Lord had told me that I could. I put it into my mouth and ate. The texture was of perfect consistency, and the juice was ever so refreshing. Dad smiled at my smile. Because I was happy, he too was satisfied.

My Father then sat in the warmth of the evening, white birds flocking around his soothing aura. I too sat beside him and watched him, the Toelicker sat between my thighs and cuddled. I wanted to explore the earth and sea, but staying around him felt warm and I felt loved and safe. My reasoning had no choice but to conclude he was my true habitat, and outside of his grace I cannot find such peace.

Why was I created? How was I created? The thoughts clouded my mind. I looked to my toes and my fingers, then looked at Dad's toes and fingers, it looked the same. I couldn't see my face so I didn't know if we had the same. But I touched it and it felt alike. I was indeed made in his image and likeness. That felt lovely.

Can I create too? I asked myself in my mind. What was his name? Soon all the thinking morphed into tiredness. I sat closer to the creator and rested my head on his shoulder. He took my hand and held it, his felt warm. Toelicker lay fast asleep, I scooped the beast to sleep between I and my Father so it feels just the same amount of Love that I felt.

I closed my eyes and slept off with no sting of mistrust.

Chapter 2 preview:

"Hi..." I looked at the woman Dad created. She was gorgeous, elegant, and her hair veiled her body, with that I immediately loved her. I put my hand out and touched her own, mine was bigger, hers were soft and cold. I loved it. "Eve, you are Eve."
